The problem with the Indians, a serious psychological one, historically speaking, they go to the panic mode too early in the game if initial blows are decisively received, their dhotis become wet and leaking...and then desperately find ways be it lies, cooked up stories for their broken leg to stand on and show a brave face to the adversary.... India lost two high valued Jets, Pilot POW, got bombed at 6 different locations, narrowly escaping the Army Chief, lost 1 helicopter. These are tremendous lossses. Infact each and every claim of India, IAF, Modi sarkar has been blown apart, and responded not just by Pakistan, but international media as well. India squarely lost itself, lost its credibility, and faced a major defeat in the 27th Feb battles with Pakistan. The scars on Indians head are deep and hurting.
Infact India was on war footing and will again be on war footing, its media was on overdrive and its political class were salivating for war, yet the events of feb 27th seriously dented belief in their military....it just left 1.2 billion Indians to live on lies and concocted stories of F16, Balakot etc. Modi’s Rafale regret weren’t without merit. Pakistan clearly had superior battle-plan and application of technology, firepower over the given battlespace which took the Indians by surprise. The ongoing fixation of the fictitious F-16 downing is a face-saving tactic. Modi’s threat of nuclear weapons also further illustrated a failure of India’s conventional forces. India broke its no first use policy, and that’s not without significance. Presents a convincing example of the breakdown of India’s conventional forces in the face by PAF’s onslaught. Just look at weak, confused and broken India in elections.
Not to forget India a year or so recently had a major humiliating defeat at ICC Champions League Cricket Final with Pakistan.
