Brahmins from Tamilnadu are no different from upper caste North Indians. I think the root of this discrimnation and bigotry can be traced to the aryan invasion and the caste system. In no other country do we find native people of such diverse colors - north - white (gora) to central brown (semi gora) to south - black (Madrassi) to east - yellow (chink) as in India.

I sometimes wish Pakistan was bordered by the South Indians. They seem so much more peaceful, polite and civilized. Unfortunately, we have the tribal Afghans on our western border and the unjustifiably macho north Indians on our western border. A DOUBLE WHAMMY for sure!!

stop nit picking I was using the OP term of reference "kale madrassi " , this is how white skinned upper caste Indian classify the different colors , to them all black people are madrassis yellow is Chinky. First of all.. Let me begin by apologising in behalf of general population of Punjab for any Punjabi who has made ugly racist remarks either against you or any South Indian brother. I feel shamed. Period.

Secondly I totally agree that the North Indians, including Punjabis make fun of South Indians skin color and make. It's a reality and I accept that it exists. As I said I feel shamed. And there are majority of them who feel the same as me.

I Would on the other hand request you to stop generalising the entire Punjabi community as it doesn't stand for entire community. detailed discussion on the subject will reveal that it's more to do with their general attitude toward life than targetting a South Indian. I am not trying to defend anyone but there are few things that can be understood only if you are a part of that culture or know them closely.

Lastly all the Pakistani members commenting as if Indian punjabis are not good, you should first understand that the scenario is not great at your time either. Punjabis in general in Pakistan consider themselves superior as well. So your hands are not clean either. So instead of igniting hatred you should acknowledge this real issue in entire Punjab.

He is not an Indian. There will of course be selective application of the rules to tolerate that cretin here....he serves a certain purpose after all.
