You know , there was an story said about a investor meeting in the old Andhra Pradesh when Chandrababu Naidu was CM & he was doing his best to make Hyderabad the centre of attraction for investment. Naidu was giving one of his "hi-tech" presentations & impressing the hell out of everybody. A foreign delegate who seemed very impressed asked the guy next to him whether he could get hold of an English translation of the CM's speech. The guy next to him burst out in laughter & told him that the CM was speaking in english.....

LOL... reminds me of a friend who had gone to visit France while still in school. His parents were active members and office holders in Lions club and wanted the kid to get some international exposure. It was an exchange program with some kid coming to stay in India in his house and he gets to go to france an live in their house.

So this guy prepared a nice speech in French (his option in school) thanking his host for welcoming him and accepting him. He worked on it for a long time, and even practised it in French with the aid of his french teacher in school. You see He wanted to impress them with his knowledge of French.

When the big day arrived, he landed in paris to see a large group waiting there to welcome him and after the welcome he pulled out his sheet and read out his thank you speech. All of them smiled and politely clapped.

On the way back home his hosts told him that the speech was a nice gesture, but it would have been better if it was in French !
