This is not a visit to Pakistan. Since SAARC meetings take place on a rotational basis, its being held in Pakistan. He will attend as the largest founder member of SAARC who needs to there so various other irons in the fire with other SAARC members can be finalised. Still its strange to see the Pakis conceding ground on several issues even though there was never any doubt that Modi would attend. Probably offered Nawaz an hour while he snoozes between the real meetings with other SAARC leaders where the real buisness takes place.

World is changing v fast.I never said russia will abandon IndiaPakistan is establishing its own independent relations with russia so that's a good foreign policy of Pakistan.Pakistan claims it's dominance in Afghanistan after hosting afghan Taliban and afghan govt peace talks.So India is loosing in every front.
