Yes its the P-15B thats 8000 tons. 052C is heavier but in no way is it "larger:.

P15A has a length of 163m compared to 052C's 154m, P15A's beam is 7.4m and 052C's
is 0.4m smaller. So Kolkata still remains the larger one. The lower weight displacement is achieved
with greater use of low-weight composites, despite the ship being larger.

And no "most powerful" doesn't mean the heaviest/largest, it means the one with more firepower and
the more modern weapons, sensors & equipment. P15A has an AESA radar and multiple L/D/S-band
sensors which are much ahead of the PESA-type sensors of Sejong. P15A deploys BrahMos, Klub,
and Nirbhay LACMs which are better than the Hynmoo-III and Hae Sung missiles of Sejong. Especially
the anti-ship capabilities of P15A are much ahead of Sejong.

Comparison between Kolkata & Luyang-2 will lead to P15A's victory due to
its greater anti-ship capabilities and ability to destroy other vessels at sea,
it deploys 16 cruise missiles compared to Luyang's 8. It has 4 x CIWS cannons
compared to 2 x on the Luyang-2.
