India don't need to buy ships from others in future because its ship-building capacity is growing day-by-day & with the implementation of new technologies the timeframe of building a large ship more than 7,000-8,000 is also reducing significantly, in near future within 10 year India is slated to match Chinese Ship building capacity & it will build 4-5 combat ships per year. Pakistan is nowhere near us & in future it has to forget to match Indian Navy's might and its shipbuilding capacity, we are concentrating to challenge the Chinese now, not the Pakistanis, Pakistan can watch our competition with China as a spectator, no need to worry Pakistan, it is now shame for us to concentrate a country like yours, we are now thinking big, we have to compete or match Chinese, Russian & American strength step-by-step because our India is a Global Power now, not merely a South-Asian Power only.

Yeah but it is 12kw only against the 25kw of LM2500 base model.
Also, now that the Kaveri project is shelved, isn't KMGT also shelved.

LM2500 earlier used to give 16 mw only later in decades it was improved

They are making some change to obtain output of about 16mw against 12mw they are getting from current design but dont expect too much,and LM2500 has an output of 22mw,From where you got 25mw?
