Indian Navy has 'hegemonic mindset': Pak naval chief

Well, where did you get the moolah from? We'll do the same. You think you're the only ones who know how to trade and collect taxes?

The fall off that high horse of yours will be excruciating, so I suggest you get off it quickly.

Actually it requires foresight and years of painstaking research and hard work. It requires vision. That comes from able leaders chosen from a pool of able citizens. Leaders are a reflection of their society or the population they represent.

Lets not talk about Pakistani leaders' vision - past and present. Your present state says a lot. Where are you going to get good pragmatic leaders?

My saddle on my high horse is 'mehfouz'

I am amused at statements like these. No doubt they are for domestic consumption but I would urge people to think logically. Indian navy has large number of old platforms. Many of these have inadequate defences and need urgent upgrades/ replacement. If you look at the IN mordernization program, it is geared, atleast for the medium term towards maintaining numbers/ capability (same as the issues with the IAF). India by its shear size (in every possible way you define the word) holds the right to maintain a large navy!
not to mention the immediate and long term security threats we face!

the Indian coast line is very vast so we need a huge navy to defend ourselves so for it we are increasing the capacities of our navy that doesn't mean we are trying to be hegemonic

Pak Navy Chief's remarks show that, Pak wants to divert world's attention towards Indian Navy Development. But we still need to have better and up to date equipments to challenge any threat from sea and to prevent Mumbai 26/11 scenarios in future or any terrorist attack from sea. Pak Navy chief should understand this.

hi guys coming back after long time hmm it seems Pak navy chief wants us not to develop a good navy so that he has not to take pain of developing a good navy :)

Well.....Pakistani naval chief's concern is valid upto some extent.

However it is not exactly going to be used for war. Many of the equipment is old and asking replacements. With ever growing trade, we need to protect out business interest. To tacke piracy smuggling etc...so more force required. Indian navy is looking into that direction.

BTW, practically IN is already dominent over Indian ocean. So there is nothing so "hegemonic" by this new modernization and expansion plans.

Filled with you kind of liberal PC idiots, the UK is down to the toilet as I speak.

where in your head do you think its ok to call someone the n word i bet you be the first to moan if you was called a this or that in england

no need to stir trouble, as I''ll rephrase as "Hindu niggers" instead.

you not getting picked on are you so you come here a act big and bad if you call the national bulling help line they can help

Its so easy to make such racist comments anytime, but rather difficult to maintain constraint....... Well We People dont consider anyone inferior. I Thank our friends for not making such comments back to this guy. Oh one thing Where ever u r from, U just shattered ur Country's Honor by such comment. Shame:pop:

Just goes to show your narrow-mindedness. u think shouting obscenities at us degrades us? The only thing your dragging in the mud are your country, culture and upbringing. I pity you.

If you are having issues with racism, I suggest you go see a good psychiatrist.

Like it or not buddy, we are here to stay. But keep posting like this, and its evident you are not.

As if he meant Stupid by hegemonic.

hegemonic = keeping a dominance over the other, for instance political dominance.

Pakistan's Naval Cheif says that India's naval expansion is to politically dominate the region (with a concern over Pakistan).

Whats so strange about it, atleast He dint say, we are going to destroy Indian navy in 48hrs and take control of Mumbai in 96hrs.

Naval dominance has always made empires a Superpower from Greece, Rome, France(Nepolianic times) and later British empire to America today.:police:

dude whats ur problem man if u can become a blue water navy ur most welcome.......... For instance India is watchful of chinies navy but never did india tell chinies as hegemonic or not to build up its navy its every countrys' right......

yes obviously government spends billions of dollars not to have its navy just as a show piece but to become a powerful fighting force obviously, even pakistan is doing or thinking the same if given a chance ( if it has a strong economy to back it up )

about the capturing mumbai and destroying indian navy its not as bad as hafeez syeed threatening india with more of 26/11 type attack or ur previous president or prime minister said kill by thousand cuts.......... ( i know its out of topic and its just confined to ur reply )

do dont worry untill pak becomes a Kabab mae haddi there will be no threat from IN ............... chill man:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:
