Commander Aftab Ahmad Khan has been appointmented as the CO of this ship. And with little modifications it can be converted into a light frigate.

.
they should also carry unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) like Camcopter S-100 for search and detection --- Russia Rubin-class patrol boat carry a license-built version of Camcopter S-100.

Plus i also wander, why they dont carry any SAM system?

I believe it should carry:

anti-ship missile system KH-35
SAM
UAV for search and detection

To be fair madam, such deployments have only become the norm in the past 2-3 years. The IN will be deploying such assets within the next 4-5 years for sure.

Wrt the KH-35, this is purely an off-shore patrol vessel and is purposely under-armed for its size, it is not meant to be an offensive asset. However, in wartime this vessel class can play a role and can be outfitted with offensive firepower most certainly.

sometimes I wonder why India builds Frigate sized OPV for Coast Guard, apart from the fact that they need a long endurance to patrol long Indian coast line..but I think these OPVs can carry a lot weapons more than what they carry.as we see INS Sukanya, which carry 1 x 40 mm, 60-cal Bofors anti-aircraft gun,2 x 12.7 mm machine guns,2 x 25 mm, 80-cal anti-aircraft guns as well as 1 Dhanush ballistic missile, and it was a 1900 ton ship.we can surely armed them with something like Klub(for attack)/Barak(for self/air defence) for sure in the time of war, even though that isn't their role, don't you think guys???

I had already answered this mate:

. . . .
In future they might get armed with Brahmos?

I don't think that is likely. Recently the IN/MoD had floated a RFI for 80-100 km ranged missiles. Those may find their way here. Coupled with an additional Search Radar. Then they will become more potent in their role of Patrol/Escort Ships which is largely a defensive role. I do not see them getting the role of the Corvettes which are more Offensive in nature

.
I sometimes wonder about the ship level specifications IN has...all the shops on the respective categories are out sized...
