This statement reeks of moral nihilism albeit selectively, come on, you still chose a side.
Young friend, I dont treat people credibly (past a point) that make common cause with all kind of clear enemies here...simply because some item checklist is ticked temporarily among whichever crew/coterie here for feeling good. What the larger entity (the crew/coterie are from) does and responds as an entire nation, on its own setup and volition, and full evidence for people to see, read and learn from....means greatly to me.
That too after they take refuge in places that face the same issues as India because of diversity of identities and histories, something that clearly marks things out to be a greater human condition globally....but strangely dont call that out in similar vein and intensity. It means to me they have marked something intrinsic to spew on my beloved India selectively...I dont tolerate that past a point.
It is simply how I choose to look at people with what they have displayed thus far, I accept I can be wrong in the end...I am only one imperfect individual, out of billions on this rock.
But I am sick of people that want everyone to tick A B C D...up to Z or go for more than that and whatever other item agendas before they give you a stamp of approval/ally. All kind of sides have done this to me, in here and out there...I don't really care much about it anymore, I just say what I'm gonna say...I don't care about approval for its my time to give and my attention to give.
Then if you are not an ally, the insinuate you are part of the enemy side. I'm done meeting or even attempting the purity tests (mostly in interest of time and from experience here). There is one country going to extent naming itself on basis of "purity" and exceptionalism in the region....you can see what it does to its psyche yourself (all kind of revisionism, justification, identity confusion, irredentism you name it).
But when certain people clamour and blab "
they will sympathise with us more than you ever will" through this A B C D checklist they have developed I will simply refer them back to the
"they"....Did
their (not small, majority by population actually) breakaway wing (due to extreme violent bullying and targetting of first the minority which then metastasized to overt racial/ethnic driven takfiri concept to the majority at immense intense scale that make all the incidents cherrypicked by certain folks here seem like walk in the park picnic) chose to stick with the same naming pattern, or reduce itself to something more fair/stoic like rest of the world? Why did it do so? Would and should it all influence how you go about making some position here if you invest time?
In the western world, would Germany be a credible country today on just about any enlightened matter today if the allies (both democratic side and commie side) stopped at its borders, left its Nazi regime to sort itself out internally over time... given what the regime did to innocent people at scale wherever it spread to and took control of? Would anyone (even if not jewish) complaining about mistreatment and issues (in their own countries) make a clarion call towards people from such a place? Simple question. I wouldn't....I suspect most wouldn't. Most people intrinsically get this....there will be some that have desperation or agenda or whatever...that don't....I simply don't given them any more time after I determine that's where they are and what their little charade game/stunt/time-pass/outlet is.
You can apply the correlations to subcontinent yourself. What was the strength of the de-nazification and effect of the nuremberg trials downstream? Is there a clear fauj-cabal allowed to persist untouched and unvarnished somewhere in the subcontinent because of nothing similar done? To what level and degree? So what is the credible way to make common cause with people from the place? Call out none of their faults and simply latch on to whatever they nod eagerly and jeeringly for yours? After what they did and still justify and tolerate running their affairs at highest level? I don't think so. If others do, thats on them.
Why do I care to respond to you though...at this length? Well, you are one that calls them out on it and deeply. You call all our sides out too....you have consistent platform overall, I hope you keep on it....for I can see (yes I do observe even if I do not reply) you have a deep love for my nation Bharat and you make your stand in it (as do the large majority of Indians, whatever their faith) rather than only rip at it only and selectively and near exclusively join in rip fests foreign enemy hypocrite brigade-mobs do here. I grow tired of all these people ....if they want to interact with me in good and fair faith, they best develop a good and fair faith approach to everyone first.
I dont have much sympathy for that stuff anymore, my empathy also declines as time goes on....I would have to know the person personally to bridge past that. This forum is not so great for it...as simply I have just a set of words I have to determine a person's character and apply it equally to all...and take everyone at their word most I can.
As to what you have labelled what I posted....well I am talking of what is not under my control....the only thing I am truly in control of are my mind, body and soul... though maybe the last one belongs in the end to the highest realm and I own only the first 2. I simply observe and comment on what is not under my control and I am not accountable for. Do I like it that way? Nope. But it is what it is. Its not a completely forlorn thing to talk about the black and white theories in a world of grey...but we must in the end realise the limits to it too...especially if we are rational and find ourselves being pulled emotionally to a black/white absolute....and even substitute it as some complete reality. It will just sap you...and if it doesn't sap you, I only fear what you will then become.
