Indian Muslims should have their own consolidated Muslim political party

It was Congress rule of 1935-1939 which saw wide scale persecution of Muslims. This made Muslims to realise that they should support Muslim League and strive for a separate homeland. The rest is History.

Muslim league was able to carve out Pakistan because there were regions in erstwhile India where Muslims were in majority. Today in India hardly any parliamentary seat outside Kashmir has Muslim majority(Assuming that all Muslims would vote for a Muslim party, which I doubt). All it would do is polarize Hindu and Muslim votes and Indian Muslims will be left with no political say and leverage whatsoever.

Thankfully Indian Muslims are smarter than that and the nincompoop OP and they would rather be part of mainstream parties and make their vote matter. So please save your usless ideas for your own little country, maybe try floating Shia, Sunni parties in your country and see how things pan out for you guys.

About political parties we muslims our self do not have any unity as we are divided into sects like ( sunni , barelvi, tabligi , deobandi , ahle hadis, shias , etc etc ) which don't even tolerate to see each other .

So which sect from you belongs? and why are in such complex? Why you think that any muslim party may support 2 nation theory and can divide india? Why are you taking opinions as advice? Are u terrifying of something or not having confidence on yourself that debates don't create nations. You mentioned hindu friends? So wats new in it, I have many hindu friends in Pakistan , Wat was your point? Isn't all muslims do carry hindu friends in india and in Pakistan. or May be you're confused as your post described.

not in 1935 but it was in 1937 to 1939 . But Why to argue with a Bharti troll , They always remain in denail mode. even in some rare cases . majority of our government formed by parties in which Shia are leaders. So they're 30 years more faster then your thoughts. Democratic parties just need ideology and goals. Wethier it is on religous based, sectarian based, ethinicity and caste based etc.. When Modi comes into power, RSS thugns will not only harass Muslims, but all minorities; especially the Christians whose conversion rates are in an upsurge. The true face of 'Secular India' would appear on World stage then.

Actually the former India was divided into two parts, based on the 2 nation theory. The part that followed the two nation theory (pakistan) went on to become another two nations, while the part that believed in living together (India) still lives together.

Face it - your people thought of forming a country on religious lines, and look where that went. It was realised that a common religion is not what would hold a nation together - it is something else called humanity that holds people together. We in India believe that all humans irrespective of language, religion etc can live together, and believe me, it is not so difficult, if you throw away ancient tribal prejudices and learn to look at everyone without the prism of religion.

With several major religions and hundreds of ethnicities and hundreds of languages, India still manages to live as one, giving your two nation theory a grand middle finger salute.

Not at all only thing which frustates us is external interfirece , we will always welcome if indian muslims are not made an example to debate. its not only in PDF but in most of the pakistani forum based websites which is not all appreciated from us.

That quite make a big number isn't it , none of these parties get support from muslims them self as this parties are not development oriented , and this parties them self surrender either under congress or any other party during assembly elections due to various factors.

In india RSS and Bajrang dal is also a religious based but only 10% to 15% support them all over india. coz indians are more liberal minded with few fanatics left .
