Indian Muslims Protest Against Terror Funding by Saudi Arabia

Thousands of Indian Muslims registered their protest in New Delhi against Saudi Arabia for its alleged connivance with terrorist outfits including Daesh. The protesters said the Saudi Arabia should stop funding Daesh, Al-Qaeda, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and others or it will boomerang.
NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — Protesters also demanded the restoration of Islamic heritage popularly known as Jannat-Ul-Baqi and Jannat-Ul-Maula at the site in Saudi Arabia. Jannat-Ul-Baqi is shrine of Shahazaidi Fatima Zahra, the daughter and grandson of the Prophet of Islam.

"We have gathered here (Jantar-Mantar) in thousands for two days to send a message to Saudi government that the way you (Saudi Arabia government) are behaving is totally against Islam. Daesh is being funded by Saudi government which is creating havoc in Syria, Iran, Iraq and India. We have submitted a memorandum to the Saudi Arabian embassy in New Delhi and asked to stop unlawful support to terrorists," Z Ahmed Chamman, the general secretary of All India Shia Sunni Front, said.

"People from all caste, community, and creed along with well-known scholars, poets, human rights activists joined the protest to mark the brutal crime of desecration of holy shrines at Madina Munawara, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," the front said.

These emotional Muslims or sympathizers to external affairs are going to create a lot of problems for India. They have more or less oppressed Indian Hindus by exploiting the Secular constitution and now are hell bent on making India a hotbed for terrorism.

These must be Shia muslims. I don't think any sunni muslim would protest like this against saudi... Sunni muslims are pro Saudi and other sunni nations while Shia are pro Iran...

Iraq invaded and massacred Kuwait. Later Kuwait joined USA in invading Iraq. Sunni muslims funded by Saudi protested in front of Kuwait embassy in India... No Shia in this protest...

More than funding for IS and al-Nusra, Saudi have to stop funding Wahabi/Salafi Imams and madrasahs. That is what is going to lead to a poisoned future.

Majority of Indian Muslims are Barelvi following Hanafi fiqh. There is a very good reason IS finds it difficult to enlist from India and that will remain so, as long as Wahabi/Salafi infiltration is checked.

One can argue for that. Sure.
But how do you give this the diplomatic cover it needs?
India should stay away from ME conflict. And the ideology is not going to find any suitable place within the Indian Muslim ranks for the reason stated above.

When you say "these muslims" you mean the Saudi wahhabi ones looking to export and establish their brand as the majority one in Islamic sphere?

Of course there is going to be massive resistance to that in the general muslim populations, esp those surrounded and living amongst very different cultural context and history to say Desert Arabia.

I don't know what you are even asking then (is there a question?). You are saying they should not protest this? They are private citizens, not officials of Indian govt, so I don't see any connection you are making with India's neutrality (however you define that) w.r.t Middle East.
