That's fine.. but it doesn't even make 0.001% of women who apply for hajj..
Also, you don't know which school of thought these women follow.. Most of the people in Kerala follow Saudis, but in Central and North India, they follow Deobandi/ Barelvi..
Lol! Saudi?
There are a few Salafi Madressas here and there in here. But that's less than 1%. Most of them follow Sunni Islam and are moderates, in our a way that'll make the Saudi's look confused, not going into detail anyway, although that may not involve praying to graves or some flying mullah stuff.
Speaking of Mahram, it's not the Indian government, but the Saudi made the rule that allows groups to travel without Mahram so, you got a problem with Shari'ah you know where to knock. But Individual governments can decide on the matter whether to send a group of women alone. What GOI did was to make the individual rule that allows women. This is it"Women over the age of forty-five (45) may travel without a
mahram with an organized group. They must, however, submit a no-objection letter from her husband, son or brother authorizing her to travel for haj with the named group. This letter should be notarized."
Also, I've seen many of you lot claiming it's Haraam, well, then women should not travel alone to any place without a Mahram.
Not one ayat that details what should be performed during Hajj, mentions that women should perform Hajj with Mahram. Not that I'm aware of. I'm open to new information.
