True, but that's far and few between isn't it?
Hollywood's track record on portrayals of minority stereotypes is about as clean as Belgium's human rights record in Congo, even when it comes to Indians. Certainly more so than bollywood's portrayal of Pakistan if you ask me. We atleast have uncomfortable history between us as a poorly serviceable excuse.
Pakistan's 'brand' in hollywood serves as the setting for defacto terrorist state for Iron man's like to save people from.

It will change with time. As for the brand thing insert North Korea, Russia, China and anyone else in there.

Walk in there and wall to wall you would see Bolly movies and you would struggle to see a Pakistani movie. Look at hollywood movies,,sperhumans,care,aliens n what not,,heck watch chinese flicks.

Well what else do u expect,,,almost all ur populace speak urdu,which,despite being a outside language which is uncomfortably similar to hindi,was made main language.
Add to tht the fact tht ur own local movie industry is basically useless.
Other major movies r either english or chinese,,,which sadly most Pakistanis cant understand or relate to.

News. The largest export market for Bollywood is Pakistan and Pakistani's. In fact Bollywood has grown as big as it has thanks to Pakistani market. To not accept this is delusion. Check out any Pakistani newspapers like say Dawn and you will have regular features on Bolyywood moviews or gossip about Bolly celebs.

The Pakistani "market" is probably smaller than the Bombay market.
