Indian movie collects 7.5 mn in Pakistan in just two days

Bro...I think it is not related to IQ. It is more related to fear factor. We know there is much crime, corruption around us but we could do nothing about this. If the movie has a hero who kills all and tries to establish a good environment, people tend to see that and thus movie becomes a hit.
Same case is with Hollywood as well. They have more money so they do not make films on corruption. But now a days their villain is not humans. It might be one on animals, aliens, machines, ghosts etc.

So if everybody has low IQ who created this term.

BTW, I agree SRK has the worst of all. Uska to pata hi nahi chalta ki movie kyon banayi hui hai.

Remember Matrix.... It was shown that Neo and other few were merely using their Brains to do the fighting and amazing speeds and so on.
Now same has been shown in an Indian Movie where Hritik Roshan evaded bullets despite the fact that he is a mere Human.
Also a hero punches ground and the shock waves ripple towards the enemies and ground them.
Also in a movie, Sunil Shetti stops the whole damn bulldozer by himself.

Do you know the impact of such movies that show super natural Hero saving world/ society? People become more lazy and instead of taking action to correct their society they start waiting for a Messiah to appear and help them

As Hrithik is concerned, he was clearly shown a kind of superhuman (Krishh)...I am not defending movies. I accept many a times they are way beyond my understanding capabilities. But if you do not like them just don't watch them as I use to do with Shahrukh.

And by last para, do you mean to suggest that western people are lazy (no offence please)!!...They have created much more superheroes movies.....superman, spiderman, batman, fantastic four etc. etc...

Not like superheroes of the type Spider Man but like normal people with extraordinary powers (without any reason ) Like a guy who is hero can easily beat up a dozen other men.

i dont watch Indian movies so i dont know, but keeping in view the craze for Indian movies here in Pakistan since last two decades, i think the man is not not speaking lie.

Bollywood movies are for the people with below average IQ.

read the title of the thread...seems we have more below average IQ people in Pakistan than in India.
or maybe IQ has got no role to play....and it's just about having fun by watching these movies...I personally would prefer any hollywood or korean flick to most bollywood ones...but most people can't read and write( or atleast don't prefer to) in English like you and me...they are not "people with below average IQ".
Hence nothing wrong with bollywood.

Jana movies are meant to be for total entertainment so the are bound to have some fiction.. it just gives the mind some sort of relaxation and changes the mood of people who tend to get out of daily stress while watching movies... so don take it too seriously if you don't like something you can definitely avoid it

Fiction is one thing and showing people something which rarely happens in actual life is two different things.

If you take Indian and Pakistani movies, you notice one thing that they are showing dream world specially to the youngsters.

And i dont think so many of these about 99% provides any relaxation. There is alot more to actual life than stupid love stories which are even crossing lines of fictions.

I feel it will be better to show something which could reform the society.
