Indian movie collects 7.5 mn in Pakistan in just two days

I wonder why so many are wasting so much time, effort & energy here on this topic.

Movies the world over are a commercial venture first. If in so doing a social message gets conveyed .. so much the better.

The maker of this movie " Wanted" made it only to make money. what diff does it make on which side of " Radcliffe' line he makes the money from ?

Lastly, if movies started reflected real life, they wouldn't run or recover the expenses involved in making them.

From what I know, this movie is a poor remake of a Telugu movie called 'Pokiri' which already got remade into Tamil as 'Pokkiri' with Asin as heroine. The movie doesn't deserve 7.5 mil even for the entire run.

This movie is meant to be Indian version of 'Shoot 'Em Up' , immensely hilarious. Similar to 80's cinema of bollywood. Fights, Violence, Songs, Romance, Emotional Melodrama.

Its PAISA VASOOL movie. Better than Shahrukh dancing around a girl.

Salman Khan movies should be avoided like the plague.

With regards to comments on the Indian film community in general, 90% of films are pretty bad. But that is the same for every film industry. Moreover, a lot of good films have come out recently that are not the same boy-meets girl rubbish.

I agree with you in that I dislike Salman Khan movies. In my opinion the guy can't act to save his life. I liked his performance in Tere Naam but can't think of any decent performance after that.

Anyways, what we are arguing about here is subjective. Everyone has their own tastes. Some people like those dishoom dishoom movies and brainless comedies of Akshay Kumar (I don't) but then we all have our taste in movies. Just because we don't like those movies we can't say that such movies should not be made. It is obvious that their is an audience for these kind of movies and as long that audience exists, the producers will make such movies to fill their pockets.
