Indian Missiles are Superior to Chinese in Quality, Says Experts

After reading the article, the author is doing selective comparison. He is comparing the recently tested Agni V with the 1970s Chinese missiles and claims that Indian missiles are superior. He can also claim that Agni V is superior to the 1950s US ICBM Atlas D and therefore, India has more advance ICBMs than US missiles.

That is provided without a major redesign.... and not to mention delay. JF-17 never suffer any underpower which hinder its performance. The current RD-93 engine provided enough power for the plane to fly as it advertised.

The underpower thing of LCA is mention by IAF chief.

delay is because of engine to exacting standards f IAF not the compromise on quality by chinese.
we may come late, but we will come with latest. !

we can hit china from anywhere in india with agni v . doesnt matter if we have 15000 range for 5000 target. secondly our super quiet nuclear submarines can come up to shanghai harbour , say hello and come back to india. so we dont worry about small things

CEP of Agni V is 40m...

Per KM? :agree:

So 5,000KM makes the CEP of 40*5000= 200,000 m = 200KM at best!

That explains why the initial expected range of the 3rd-stage warhead of Agni V was:

1000KM*600KM!

Therefore, the real CEP of Agni V = 200KM!

That's why India doesn't have Video footage of the re-entry.

That's why India hasn't be able to recover the warhead yet.

------because any observation team there was just TOO FAR away from what was happening!

If no, if the CEP had been anywhere close to 100KM or less, ( where Indian observation and recovery team is logically based) , we would have had be able to fund endless pieces by Indian media bragging about the scene and tons of footages in youtube right now of Indian divers posing next to the recoverd warhead within HOURS after re-entry, if not minutes like other countries such as the US, Russia and China did! - these general info will not be classified by convention

Yet, we have Nil, because Indians were no where near the WVR *Within Visual Range*!!!

Agni V, using all the key tech bought from Russia, is still miles behind the old DF- 4 of 1970s in general, because DF-4 at least were operational for years while Agni V was just the first trial.

Solid fuel of Agni V ( tech came from Russia anyway) is nothing to brag about against the liquid fuel of DF – 4, cuz it’s natural as worldwide tech improves so much.

It’s like you can’t brag about how smart your kid is vis-a-vis Einstein just because of the gadgets of MP5 or ipad he’s using, while Einstein himself still even didn’t have an old fashion Walkman.

So even with the advantage of solid fuel, Agni V is still about the same weight and range as DF- 4 with similar warhead payloads.

The fact is: Agni V and DF-4 generally belong to the same category in key parameters, yet DF-4 is still ahead since it was much more mature and reliable due to many more testing and was operational.

I agree with TS. Not just missiles but Indian nukes are superior than chinese according to some media sources. India is keeping information on hydrogen bomb tests understated for time being.

LCA need nt to kill jf they will crash on their own as 1 jf recently crashed.
jf is the gulsar of fighter planes.. not to worry man..

and pak af is like pak railways.. we know what happened to their locos.

And what media sources are these? Probably Indian.

Here is reality.
The final test series concluded in the spring and summer of 1996. According to Japanese government sources (reported in Nihon Keizai Shimbun), the penultimate underground Chinese nuclear test on 8 June 1996 (calculated at 20 to 80 kilotons) was actually a simultaneous detonation of multiple warheads (a common practice by both the U.S. and USSR). It was said to be part of a program to produce smaller warheads for submarine-launched and multiple-targeted missiles. Overall, the yields since 1990 have suggested that two warheads have been in development: one in the 100-300 kt range, and one in the 600-700 kt range.

China's last nuclear test was detonated at 0149 GMT (9:49 p.m. EDT) on 29 July 1996. According to the Australia Geological Survey Organization in Canberra its yield was 1 to 5 kilotons, with a seismic magnitude of Mb 4.3. This was China's 45th test, and its 22nd underground one.

China's Nuclear Weapons

Go find on the internet, how china got it's nukes .... all 1950s-vintage russian technology.

Gifted by deluded russian to a "trusted" ally, who betrayed them in a few years.

but, the key issue is why the russians have accepted to provide upgrade to 1950s uranium enrichment technology to china:

NSG must consider this issue on priority.

What if you would show me these sources?

Because Pentagon seems to disagree with you.
Beijing’s official policy towards the role of nuclear weapons continues to focus on maintaining a nuclear force structure able to survive an attack, and respond with sufficient strength to inflict unacceptable damage on the enemy. The new generation of mobile missiles, maneuvering and MIRV warheads, and penetration aids are intended to ensure the viability of China’s strategic deterrent in the face of continued advances in U.S. and, to a lesser extent, Russian strategic intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; precision strike; and missile defense capabilities.

Lost your sense of logic, sir.

Re-read what you typed.

If you read your own links in earlier posts .... how china got it't nukes is quite clear.

Anyway, what's lost is lost.... Russians must not be allowed to upgrade china's uranium enrichment technology.

It's will also violate their NPT commitments !!

You claim that Chinese nuclear weapons are 50's technology, but you fail deliver any sources.

Now you are linking that news article where it's said that China buys two reactors from Russia. What that has to do with nuclear weapons? India buys nuclear reactors from other countries... this means that Agni V is 50's technology?

Now, post those "media sources" so I can read evidence that Chinese missiles are 50's technology. I'm still waiting.

Agreed.. usually Speeder2 poses serious challenge to Martian... in trolling standards

but here he lowered his standards.

Is it because you are all ready to take his place ? :P

Seriously , get a life and stop mocking yourself !

At best you can compare Agni V with Chinese technology of 1970's ... Nothing more

Mate , you are replying to a troll which doesn't know ABC of a missile even ... Yet he will go all the way to prove that Chinese got this technology from there and there , based on some random articles ... I will be delighted to hear from him , where India got the technology from ...

In the meantime , the country which is now claiming superiority over Beijing

India Nuclear Weapons | Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty
A top scientist's claim that India's 1998 nuclear test was a failure ...

Kasturiranga Santhanam, the coordinator of India's 1998 nuclear tests, went public with allegations that India's much heralded Pokhran II test of a thermonuclear bomb 11 years ago was actually a fizzle.

“We are totally naked vis-a-vis China, which has an inventory of 200 nuclear bombs, the vast majority of which are giant H-bombs of power equal to three million tons of TNT,” Santhanam told reporters in New Delhi this week.
