What's new

indian kid claims an unreleased pakistani song

But that does not justifies song lifting...or does it?

I am not justifying plagiarism or piracy. As a member mentioned earlier some people get away such is not the case now.

I named bands which possibly are unheard of by most Pakistanis in my previous post.

Well the bands u named are all well known to the music lovers in Pakistan. Just do some research..or google it..:enjoy:

Are all Pakistani music lovers? :disagree:

and btw....i would rather go for quality than quantity...anyday....

Your definitions of quality or biases may or may not apply to anyone else.
I like music which appeals to me irresp of the nationality of the composer.

PS: Heard about the case of music of Krazzy 4 ?

^Nice song, but its too "generic". Not very original. Here's an Indian rock song that I like a lot:

Krazzy 4 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Music composer Ram Sampath alleged that the music of two of the songs of this movie (Break Free and Krazzy 4) are copied from a Sony Ericsson advertisement, composed by him.

He lodged a case against the producers the film claiming damages of Rs 2 Crores. On 10th April, 2008 the Bombay High Court upheld his complaint and directed producer Rakesh Roshan to delete the songs from the film.[16]

The producers reached an out-of-court settlement with composer Ram Sampath, and the movie was released with the controversial songs on April 11,2008."
