What's new

Indian IT worker who groped Princess Fiona at a Shrek-themed amusement park

if some invests 500 rupees of their own money into buying a knife and randomly seeks out victims on a road, will you also employ the same logic?? :)
Listen, I don't particularly enjoy arguing for arguments sake. Why don't you tell me, will try to seek a ban on knife sales ? What's the next thing ? Sticks ?
when something is harmful to society or is anti-human or disrupts harmony, it must be challenged and removed... most other societies did that decades ago.
Which society did what?

the two things i compared relate to food... non-living idols being "fed" with free food while living humans dying because of lack of money to obtain food.
Let me ask you, the internet that you are using, that can pay for a needy child's food and probably more. Why didn't you?

any socialist society.

even many capitalist western societies have a minimal welfare system and even so in the five anglo countries the "occupy" movement wants progressive socialistic changes.

i was only comparing crime - a knife-slashing here and callous wastage of food there.

Let me ask you, the internet that you are using, that can pay for a needy child's food and probably more. Why didn't you?

that is a absurd comparison.

so i, a socialist, politically and technology contributing member of humanity, who wants to abolished tax on food among other things, must stop using internet while non-living idols made of stone, metal and plaster, should continue to receive a lavish breakfast daily as they have for 2900 years despite some person dying of hunger in the vicinity of some breakfasted idol??

really man... what is the kind of india ( and world ) you want??

what do you need a idol for?? don't you want hunger deaths, hunger and malnutrition to stop??

see, these unscientific or anti-human cultural elements were what rationalists/progressives like m.m. kalburgi were agitating against against, until they were assassinated by the sangh.

it's might be acceptable for page 3 celebrities likes Tejpal not for common average Indians.

any reason you mentioned tejpal in particular?? :)

Like I said, any extreme is bad. A pragmatic results-oriented balance is what is needed.

should continue to receive a lavish breakfast daily

You really do not understand that this food is consumed by people? You must have seen the lines of poor people outside the temple when prasadam is being given? I have many stories about it.

No idea why you are so adamant in attacking religion on this aspect.

How many people in India are undernourished compared to 10 years ago....and how many will be so 10 years from now if the current rate of decrease continues (or even quite likely accelerates) Do you know?

How many people in extreme socialist North Korea (no religion allowed) starved (even to death) in the 90s till the evil foreigners that you despise interjected and gave them donations and food aid? How many continue to be undernourished there today say compared to 10 years ago? Care to tell me these numbers?

. . .
He made such a move on a lady against her will. Although, it was after greetings :pleasantry: were exchanged.

hmm, but i still wonder about his side of the story.

and rather than automatically mention someone not pro-sangh one can mention those over-hyped and arrogant modern indian cricketers like amit mishra who was arrested for something similar[1]...
When Mishra returned, he was furious that she entered his room without his permission.

"He began hitting me with his hands and threw the electric kettle at my face. He squeezed my neck so hard that I nearly suffocated, and began screaming for help. He twisted my right wrist so badly that my right ring finger suffered a fracture. Despite this, we sat down for a while and I asked him why he was being so violent with me. He began using filthy words and called me a 'b**ch', and 'roadside girl'. I then ran out of the room by midnight, crying," Jain said in the FIR.
"roadside girl"?? really !! if not for the capitalist investment into the indian public's kirket fascination, two-bit kirketers like amit mishra and dhoni would have been doing some wage-slavery employment so they shouldn't be the ones to insult that lady or others... by the way, this should teach that lady not to associate with neo-rich scum whose way of thinking is still derived from their idiotic mother.

and then the article, after having described a crime, strangely goes on to describe the criminal cricketer's cricket performance...
Mishra topped the bowling averages for India in the recent Test series in Sri Lanka with 15 wickets at an average of 15. He also chipped in with some useful runs down the order including a top score of 59.

More recently, he has kept the South Africans on a tight leash in the ongoing ODI series. It would be a pity if Mishra's career is derailed for all the wrong reasons.

You really do not understand that this food is consumed by people? You must have seen the lines of poor people outside the temple when prasadam is being given? I have many stories about it.

And what is done with the prasadam 99.999% of the time? Do you know?

prasadam is generally the prepared food that is kept and i suppose waved in front of the idols and once the food is considered having sufficient levels of blessing, distributed into the devotees...

hh-temple-prasadam.jpg

or sometimes coconuts are broken in front of a idol, temple or in a ritual, and then given to devotees to eat.

now this is different from the milk and curds that is exclusively used to bathe the idols in the morning and is wasted by getting washed away into the drain.

No one cares about Syria and Libya.

millions of people do. :)

venezuela, a country in south america, far away from africa, is being turned into a adaptation[2] of the jamahiriya by the followers of commandante hugo chavez who himself was a student of the "green book"...
We met with Antenea Jimenez, a former militant with the student movement who is now working with a national network of activists who are trying to build and strengthen the comunas. The comunas are community organizations promoted since 2006 by the Chávez government as a way to consolidate a new form of state based upon production at the local level. She told us about the important advances in the process, as well as the significant challenges that remain in the struggle to build a new form of popular power from below.

the future of humanity is socialist/communist.

and i don't see anyone in the world adapting the indian system. :)

india as a system hasn't offered to humanity anything politically or technologically[3].

No idea why you are so adamant in attacking religion on this aspect.

i am only pointing to fact... i did not make up anything.

We put India first and foremost...we certainly are not going to get involved anywhere that far away if thats what you want. If you want you are welcome to go to those places and try bring change again to what you want.

the religio-nationalism in india has been the defeat of india, where the nationalists are blind to the reality of a country in failed-state mode, are immune to things like 200,000 farmers having suicided between 1997 and 2010 not because their houses had been surrounded 40-foot anaconda snakes but because of socio-economic reasons that continued in the same form after 1947.

when nationalists refuse to acknowledge the extreme problems of india, how will they remove those problems??

Why do you need internet for ? You can go write in the wall. Chances of people paying any hid to you are greater in the later actually.
And no,you are no socialist. I know what it is, you are anything but that. With all due respect, at best, you are any opportunist without an opportunity.

You really do not understand that this food is consumed by people?

No, he does not know the basic concepts. One of the main reason, I didn't take him seriously on this topic.

any socialist society.

Come again ? Any socialist society ? Did what ?

.
Stupid.
Who the hell gave him rights to drag Indias name in to such shit?
And he is a dumb .Indians should always keep a distance from Brits or even white people.Otherwise shit like this will happen.
Then dont drag nation name.

I agree with this in principle. However it is quite minute amounts compared to the wastage by the PDS systems India implemented under the guise of socialism.

venezuela, a country in south america, far away from africa, is being turned into a adaptation[2] of the jamahiriya by the followers of commandante hugo chavez who himself was a student of the "green book"...

And how is that going for Venezuela now? :D Followed the elections there? Like the outcome?

200,000 farmers having suicided between 1997 and 2010

So thats 15,000 farmer suicides per year. Assuming all of these were for agriculture related reasons (a bad assumption but lets go with it for sake of argument)....and let us say there are 100 million farmers (use a low base to get the worst possible scenario). Thats about 15 deaths per 100,000 compared to overall national suicide rate of about 20 - 25. If we use a larger base as the population (of farmers/cultivators) this number halves to less than 10...and some bases even less than 5. You can read up the studies yourself. Farmers' suicides in India - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For comparison the suicide rate of South Korea is almost 30.

It is indeed a problem for India, but no more severe than worldwide suicide problems and patterns. Just quoting a total suicide number and not looking at the base and rate and comparison to the averages elsewhere is quite a desperate tactic.
