Indian ingredient led to cough syrup deaths: Pakistan official

Dextromethorphan is very common cough suppressant..I do not think it has anything to do with deaths...

Following hints from article must not be ignored.

1.Twenty people, most of them drug addicts, died in Lahore in November after drinking a cough syrup named Tyno.

2.Qureshi said if Cheema's claim is accepted, the cough syrups should have caused many more deaths than those reported so far.




Or is it possible that more amount of cough syrup was consumed by these patients 20 of whom were drug addicts?

poor drug addicts .they were used to low quality diluted pakistani stuff and now they made the mistake of taking same quantity of potent indian drug.atleast the drug mixer company shud have informed them about the change .lol
