Indian HocKey Team gets drubbed out of Asian Game

India is the best team as we have remain the only unbeaten team in both the pools.

India won all of its games including against pakistan.

they didn't loose in Pool but lost in semi final, so not an unbeaten team.

But due to a bad umpiring decision we have lost to Malaysia whom we have beaten few weeks back in CWG 2010.

If that umpiring mistake was not there we could have seen India-Pakistan final and if one go by last four India-pakistan clashes i.e. World Cup, Azlan Shah, CWG and Asian Games we have beaten pakistan in all of these matches so a bad decision takes away our well deserved Gold Medal.

A single bad decision may affect result of match in any game but unfortunately bad decisions are also part of the game. I don't know about bad decision in India Malaysia match cause I saw just about 10 minutes of game when India scored third goal and match was 3-2. Frankly my opinion was, India a convincingly heavier team but at the end of day those are goals scored and probably Malaysia grabbed more chances among fewer they got. So be happy it was a great match and good show put up by both teams

C'mon guys, why celebrate someone else's defeat but not our own victory? If their media used the term drub, why should we have to use the same? The defeat is the past, the gold medal is our present, so I say grow up and enjoy the present. Peace!

Exactly... The today's truth is that we won the Gold Medal in Hockey

If they are going to keep repeat about their 4 wins and 1 draw that they grabbed this year... i find nothing wrong in comparing for the past 10 years too.... where we clearly outclassed India in hockey... same is in overall stats

so next time either don't start your 4 win - 4win lecture or read the history of Hockey too where we always dominated

Loved the Pakistani flag going up as the Malaysians and indians watched, sad that we had to beat our brothers in the final, would have loved to get the gold against the old enemy, but gold is gold, also we qualify for the 2012 Olympics
