I have a small skull but as far as I know I don't think I am an idiot. Maybe there is some extra thing that should be looked at in this study, like the number of folds in the brain.

Not to play devil's advocate but it is possible that to make up for the smaller brain size, they have greater brain density

Brain size also depends on fetal and childhood nutrition like overall body size. A 5 feet individual obviously will have a smaller brain than a 6 feet tall man. But the brain size difference among human is not that important compared to neuron connecting with each other.

I suppose because Patel was a closet Hindutvadi. I don't think the BJP would have raised a statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh who was a communist revolutionary until death. From my thread :

Why only rulers ? I will mention two instances of Indian businessmen doing gaudy display. One is Subrata Roy, chairman of Sahara Group who spent 500 crores on the twin weddings of his two sons. Another is of course the 27-storey bookcases-shaped "house" of Modi's friend Mukesh Ambani. His 168 cars take up one storey and there is a private temple inside the "house". 27 storeys, and not far from this building live people in jhuggis, four people to a room. Fellow rich man Ratan Tata has this to say of Ambani's house :

If brain mass co-related with intelligence then elephants and whales would have built a much more advanced civilization than humans by now and probably dinosaurs have already started a hyper advanced nomadic space faring civilization. It maybe comforting to find and share speculative ideas of inferiority of neighboring populations, but it will do little to help uplift the morbid state of affairs you guys have ran yourself into. Written by political commentator AG Noorani,the article argues now that those lauding Patel at this moment have a clear motive: "To discard Indian nationalism in favour of Hindu nationalism and what goes with Indian nationalism, its secular credo."

It was Mahatma Gandhi who picked Nehru over party boss Patel to be his successor. Despite Patel's huge achievements as a party chief and as a funds collector, it was Nehru who was Gandhi's choice.

The piece says, "Nehru was cultured and refined. Patel was coarse to a degree. Nehru had a world view. Patel was ignorant of world affairs. Nehru was great despite his serious flaws and grave failures. Patel was small and mean despite his admirable qualities. Nehru’s foreign policy was seriously flawed. But what an image he projected to the world for years as Prime Minister of newly independent India."

Even Patel's friends among the British diplomats could not deny his communal sympathies or his arrangements with RSS leaders, the article argues. It quotes from historical records, writings of various leaders and historians to paint a picture of a man who was "rabidly communal in his outlook", a man whose dislike of Muslims hardened into "antipathy" towards them.

According to Noorani, in Hyderabad, Patel turned a blind eye to the massacre of Muslims, in Kashmir, he defended the RSS when Nehru complained of its activities; in post-Partition Delhi, he insisted that there was widespread anger about Muslims being allowed to go about openly in the streets, eventually going on to protest Nehru's view that Muslim refugees who evacuated their homes should be allowed to return. Even in inviting the Hindu Mahasabha and RSS to join the Congress, Patel is reported to have said those who "ride on two horses" will have to go to Pakistan.
