It's all disgusting. Kofta is Turkic and many other dishes of Mughal.
Just accept this and try make some good dishes for the world

I recognise many of the 'Indian' dishes because of it bro.

Dude we are not hate any country food/dishes, why you hate Indian/Chinese food/dishes, Respect other country thingys

What would potato eating Irish know about food. I mean what is Indian food anyway? India is so big and diverse the tastes and flavours vary from place to place. Even in Pakistan, we have totally different cuisine in different parts. Some of the food is excellent, some of it might not be to everyone's taste.

I personally thank Allah that I was born Pakistani where we have such a variety of rich cuisine. It's not overly spicy like Gujurati food, it's not too bland like some Arab food, and thankfully it's not potatoes and beatroots like Slavic food. Don't get me wrong, i love Arab food and sometimes i really enjoy spicy food, but the balance and variety we have in Pakistan, makes me glad.

Also a lot of our food is made of dishes from the Mughal courts and the courts of emperors, it's not all peasant food, unlike some cultures. Makka ni roti and saag is nice every now and then, but I much prefer lamb pulao or chapal kebabs.

Controversial statement - I don't like paye. Never had a good version of them, don't get the fuss. Much rather have halwa puri and chanay.

So, it's fine to call Turkish food as bland, and thats fine. But i cannot dislike Indian food?
You called Indian food "disgusting". Why would you call food disgusting? At the end of the day it's still a blessing.

Secondly, I called it bland and that's not necessarily a bad thing because I do enjoy eating foods that are basic in their taste. My staple diet is basic chicken breast and brown rice and it's bland.

I love Indian food but even I can't cook it everyday because it takes alot of preparation and time.

I think you are confusing gujarati food with North Indian food. Gujarati food is actually sweet.

Agree with everything else you said though

I once had a French dish called Quiche. It was bland but interesting, but I will not prefer to have it every time I eat out.

I don't about other communities but heeng / hing is not often used among Indian Muslims, at least as per my knowledge.
I've never seen Heeng, although I heard about it. Its mostly North Indian Hindus who use it. Never heard of it in South.

My exposure to Gujarati food is limited to Leicester in the UK. Went to a wedding once, food was spicy as hell, went to a local favourite chip shop, specialty was covering food with chilli powder. I went to a few other takeaways, again food was always spicy, might just be a Leicester thing though.

The whole comment is ignorant and the conversation that has ensued on here - predictable.

I've never come across a cuisine i disliked entirely, everyone has dishes that are good and bad, every chef is different, every recipe is tweaked.

Real estate agents in the US also call Indian food disgusting due to its everlasting smell that sticks to the home. As soon as one walks in to a home ready for sale (meaning that it has been professionally cleaned), the smell is still very apparent as the smell sticks to the walls of the house.

I actually like French, Italian and thats about it. Well, I won't count the Balkans because that's mostly copy from Turkish.

Please also name me one famous Persian dish??

Don't be offended if South Asian people call Turkish food bland. Our dishes are typically heavy in spices and so we get used to that. It's the same for everyone, whatever you eat regularly, your tastes grow to appreciate it. I too used to find Turkish food bland, this was until i started eating it more regularly. I found it was healthier and i was suffering from heartburn at one point so started eating more Turkish food (it was available easily locally). I've developed a taste for it. I still eat the "spicier" versions of your food, for example Adana kebab, or ezme salad.

I suspect if you ate spicier food more regularly, you'd grow a taste for it, as well as get heartburn.

Indian food looks nice though, and the smell I agree with, just too overbearing. But I always get dissapointed with the taste. Almost makes me feel sick. And I am not exaggerating

Tarka smell is the worst, this is why Asian people shouldn't have open plan kitchens, and should have expensive extractor fans. When my wife cooks i insist the door is closed, the kitchen windows are open (whilst frying the tarka) and the extractor fan is on. She also has clothes she wears only when cooking handi. Once the handi is done, she changes.

I hate it when people don't make that effort and then they go out in public smelling of fried onions and spices.
