This deal needed to give reason why US forces are in India to our friends and foe. In future.

Don't worry about India , Its a Logistical arrangement for refuelling US Navy/ Air force . US has one in Japan and now in India. In case of escalation in conflict of South China Sea, Indian Naval Bases shall be used to berth US frigates/carriers/destroyers for refuelling that's it. It will be a Concern for China , Pakistan is Safe and has no pending issues of such with USA

Well If a war is going to be fought it will not be fought in Indian soil but the south China sea or the persian gulf. And please worry about your people before you worry about your enemies. That would make more sense.

You can if you sign a similar agreement with Great Britain. Since it's still a British overseas territory. Eventhough it hosts both U.S and U.K military bases.

We already pushed for a similar agreement with Japan.

But it only took only 2 years for the incumbent BJP government to sign this agreement. CISMOA & BECA are already being discussed for sometime and would be signed in the next 3-6 months.

If Nuclear power was criteria to fight in this world then USA wont have invaded Vietnam, USSR wont have fought with Georgia , One would have Just bombed them .India and Pakistan were nuclear power in 1999 and still fought conventional war in Kargil . Nuclear is only used in End of times when loss is eminent and one is ready to accept all consequences it will lead to.

Since 10 years Pakistan lost almost 100000 people including security personnels .. fighting terrorism against proxy etc so isn't it's war and why it's imposed on Pakistan
