Does anybody know 'boon' or 'boond'? It's a yellow powder which is packed together into blocks. It's especially popular with kids; I used to love it. Apparently it's made from drying tree sap, or crushing a special flower, or something.

It's very hard to find even in Karachi, we had to ask our maid to get it from her village in rural Sindh.

I don't think i can survive without Indian food. I am pretty sure i would hang myself if i were made to survive ONLY on non-indian cuisine. Pakistani cuisine works too.....there isn't a lot difference between the two anyway.....

HEAVEN, it also depends on one's taste, in south asia its more spicier and lots of sweetness in desserts

Tried that but it was not worth it{Naam bade Darshan chote}....if you are from Delhi i can tell you better place to have butter chicken.....but as faar as Karim's Korma and Rogan Josh is concern no doubt its best

plus chicken tikka, shaami kebab, chapli kebab

in veg, aalo ki bhujya, qarhi, palak(spinach) chicken/mutton, karela curry etc etc

we eat frid fish occasionally, i think its 'rao' fish and paplet fish

also try kebab rolls of pakistan, its the chicken, beef or mutton rolled up in parathas(bread), some chains like hot n spicy make tasty kebab rolls

99% same name same food. what eva it gives good taste to our tongue.
