But GOI total revenue is less than Samsungs.

What India exports in Automobiles are not Indian cars but automobiles made by say Ford USA in assembly plant in India and USA importing the say Ford Eco sport assembled in India, all the profit, inventory goes to the FORD USA, only a few jobs and a pittance to India.

The same is true for China as well.

And you should look at the level of backward integration to see where the money actually goes.

There are Indian auto component manufacturers which have revenues larger than the Indian subsidiaries of the OEMs they supply to.

You can get the average looking at the car sales in India and Pakistan. In Pakistan car sales keeps on hovering around 240,000 to 285000 per year
