Indian CBG to have 7 Escorts

There is always the option of going south Of Australia to enter the Indian Ocean.

Also China most likely eventually(2025-2030) have 1-2 aircraft carrier battle groups stationed at all times in the Indian Ocean.

My last comment on this topic is that there is nothing that Indian could ever hope to do to stop the PLAN entering the Indian Ocean if that is what China wants. India is massively weaker, and will be for the next few decades at least, than China.

Norther IO will be a possible death zone for the PLAN, since we could even use air force planes to attack a threat. And supply routes for ships will be much smaller too, since the mainland or Indian islands wont be far away.
But thats all hypthetical, such a war will probably and hopefully never occur

I found this photo of The Abraham Lincoln battle group. You may like to count the number of ships. I admit, I may still be wrong.

This photo relates to Abraham Lincoln battle group. That's right but this pic was taken during RIMPAC 2000 exercise. As we all know that in exercise their no restriction for no of ships in tight formation. The USS Abraham Lincoln carrier battle group along with ships from Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, and South Korea travel towards Honolulu in RIMPAC 2000 in this photo.

In modern United States Navy carrier air operations, Carrier strike group (CSG) has replaced the traditional term of carrier battle group (CVBG or CARBATGRU). The Navy maintains 11 carrier strike groups, 10 of which are based in the United States and one that is forward deployed in Japan. CSG or CVBG normally consist of 1 Aircraft Carrier, 2 Guided Missile Cruisers, 2 Anti Aircraft Warships, and 1-2 Anti Submarine Destroyers or Frigates.
