Well this is psyche of the issue that's ignored conveniently, Kashmir may be the core issue between the two countries but it also concerns a third party, you just can't discuss or implement your decisions on others...... the problem is that India is deliberately not addressing what the Kashmiris themselves want or desire...... most probably due to the fact that India knows what the answer will be.

Well this is psyche of the issue that's ignored conveniently, Kashmir may be the core issue between the two countries but it also concerns a third party, you just can't discuss or implement your decisions on others...... the problem is that India is deliberately not addressing what the Kashmiris themselves want or desire...... most probably due to the fact that India knows what the answer will be.

even though status quo favors us this govt. was ready for talks.
modi invited nawaz,nawaz came,,talks were about to commence,,,everythng was going in a positive direction..
but u guys had to do somethng i.e. talk with hurriyat learders,,which GOI was against...
even if u had to consult them ,,,a phone call wud have sufficed,,,but no,,,u had to do some political posturing.u had to meet thm in person(that too, before talks about the talk even started)
consequently talks cancelled ...everythng back to square one

Dude, the bottom line is meeting took place inside India obviously with the approval of GOI, hence the Hurriyat leaders were allowed or assisted to travel to New Delhi...... doesn't this make the Indian attitude like saying, you can have my car but i am not giving it to you. ..... otherwise just making excuses to stall the talks.

again ,,status quo suits us,,,it was Pakistans prerogative to capitalize on a majority rt. wing Indian govt. which cud deliver something substantial n was raedy to do it too(unlike previous govts.)
GOI was very clear on the issue of meeting hurriyat leaders,,,GOP miscalculated..opportunity lost.

We are told that it's Pakistan instigating the cross-border firing and you are led to believe that the opposite is happening. This is the time when a forum like PDF can be used by most as another channel to vent-out and by some others to find out exactly what started what. You all should relax a bit...nobody on the forum wants to kill anybody.

How long are we going to live in this illusions? b/w hurriyat is not the third party by any stretch of imagination...that's a different matter that they suit your cause...

we can start all over about the plebiscite and then both of us will hide our own mistakes and point fingers towards other...then we will talk about Baltistan etc...part under china etc...and outcome would be nada!!....plebiscite is not practical and is not going to happen...the only solution to Kashmir would be what India and Pakistan will decide...like it or not but that's a fact..rest everything is an eye-wash and just a handle to strengthen once position during bargaining period!!
