“The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed1, and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.”

Here is the Hadith. You don't have to tell me if it's fake or not, I know. It's graded Hasan- meaning good source and can be quoted.

Whether true or not, this Aisha narration cannot be a source saying Quran is not protected by God.

The first source of Islam is Quran, if Quran said Quran is protected by God, so the hadith narrated by Aisha saying there is verse that is eaten by goat is false.

Any way, prophet Muhammad cannot write, he memorize the Quran verses, and many Muslim Arab during that time also memorize Quran verses, some who can write, write it down.

Only Muslim who memorize their holly books, there are many in Muslim world who still do memorizing whole verses in their head. Near my place, there is at least one person who has memorized whole Quran inside his head

Not only one who write Quran verses in sheep skin, many are doing it since writing system has entered Arab world during that time.

So even if the hadith is true, it is meaningless, many Arabs at that time has already memorized Quran in their head, including the one who compelled the first Mushaf which is done during Ustman Bin Affan Caliphate.

Person who has memorized Quran completely is called as Hafiz in Quran, and the tradition still goes on until this modern day. In Indonesia alone there are more than thousands people who have memorized whole Quran verses in their head, despite we have already Quran in the form of books and digitals

Even among Indonesian celebrities family, at least there are 10 kids who want to be Hafiz

1 - Don't discuss any religion.. if you want, go to a religious institution rather than discussing here. In Islam, many hadiths are questionable, and there is a system in place to validate the hadiths. So it's better to go to an established institution with all the research on hadiths.. Quran is the only text that is fully valid. Similarly, don't quote text from other religions. Just like Muslims get offended, other people also get offended when they are shown the questionable text that has got ruined over the past several centuries or millennia.
