Remember the Battle of Longewala how your lack of coordination, lack of communication and planning led to your enormous armored division being owned by 120 soldiers? Thats what happens when you dont do a "table top war game". Practicing on the ground is good and all, but you need to get your **** together. Not run around like maniacs and expect to succeed.

This is a war game within the confines of four walls where troops are not involved. Only senior commanders of all arms and services take part. Brass Tacks was a field exercise. Field Exercises, where troops are involved, are held to validate the concepts discussed during the war games.
