Lol the indian army can study all it want we can arrange tours for them if they so request.

Hahaha what a load of bull!

China doesn't have aircraft carrier nor capable of operating far from its shore. India blocks Malacca strait, China's main route to Indian Ocean is gone. PN doesn't have firepower or advanced ships to withstand against IN in immediate neighborhood.

and all those Brahmos anti ship missiles packed like sardines are meant for shipping lines of Pak & China..hope not

India blocking Malacca strait...half of the world's oil go through there. If you block something like that.US Fleet will come in and make sure the area is open so world trade can go fine.

US's oil doesn't go through Malacca strait. Its mainly Japan, China, S Korea and Taiwan etc. US has no business here. If India has to block SoM for Chinese reason than surely US will only help. Anyway India will allow other country's ships.

The best you can do is blockade Pakistan's Southern Coast but even that is hard now as Pakistan's Navy is much better now and Submarines are much more silent. Thanks to French AIP.Between 2000-2010 Musharraf really transformed our armed forces into strong force. Anyway the sea route can be provided escorts by Pakistan and China Navy and as always the air route is always open.Don't tell me your jets will block that too.Pakistan ain't Iraq.

If Pakistan navy is better than Indian navy is way better. India has invested huge amount of money in naval capabilities. Our carriers and nuclear submarines allow to operate far from India's shore ie from western part of Arabian sea.

French Agosta 90 are good but becoming old. Its early 90s technologies. While our Kilo class submarines hold 200 km range Club missile and latest sensors upgraded recently. Also India ahs the best ASW capabilities in the region.

You got it right. There will be huge roar and rage across the world.
Looks like there are few people here who can understand what's meant by blocking the Malacca straight.Others just can float the idea.;)

By the way why is everyone trying hard to sink the road in the sea.
Better open another thread for this purpose.

Aaah the usual Indian dreams of getting Pakistan's neck and bargaining power and God knows what not.

Keep dreaming, we have no worries.

Not Pakistan, I have clarified in my that post itself that its nothing to do with Pakistan please try to understand.

Its about China.

If we block the trade of china with the whole world through land and sea the Whole china will be cut off and we gets a good bargaining power or deterrence so that China don't dare to bully us.

We have no enmity with any country in the world.

But in case of war we we cut off enemy's trade and supplies for sure.

The USA, Japan, South Korea etc. are friendly countries. We will let them pass and block only chinese/pakistani vessels.

And USA/Japan, South Korea etc. will be happy be more then happy to help us or know that china is blocked.

Really ??? The trade China does through Pakistan is hardly an amount which can make them come to the negotiating table. Its peanuts for them for the time being, yeah when KKH gets enlarged, Gwadar port becomes fully operational, the infrastructure is developed and China starts using this route for trading, then we can say it is an important route, but for now, it has no strategic value for China, rather its importance is in context of Pak-China.

And as for Sea Lanes, India needs a lot of time and naval strength to even harass the Chinese ships, Chinese naval forces are much in numbers and quality wise also very good, and they are inducting ships at very fast pace and their quality improved to great length.

So unfortunately, for now India can't do anything, except for off course dreaming as said before. Getting China's neck is very far away, if India does that, do remember, China won't hesitate going at full war, that includes land war also. Which India is not yet ready for.

And yeah China would not be cut off, it has other sea routes available also, though they would be lengthy, but it won't be completely cut.

And China hasn't bullied anyone, unfortunately like others have and do.

And you think Pakistan & China are d***less ??

They will let India quietly do these stopping and won't react. For what are they having then their navies for ?? What are these dozens of Chinese subs gonna do, what are PN subs for, as well as Ships.

And to blockade Pakistani shipping lanes, you will have to come near to & inside Pakistani waters, so far from own base and so much near to our territory, well you can yourself think who will have more advantage. Our major shipping is through the Gulf straits and protecting that would not be much of a problem for us, as Gwadar is just on the mouth of the gulf straits and IN will have to come close to this port for a blockade, we have subs, we have surface launched AShMs and other stuff to through at.

I have high level doubts about your very first statement, hope you think about it again and see India has enmity with someone or not, as just in previous post you were saying something about China & Pakistan and getting at their neck. Friends don't get friends neck, enemies do that.

Wait...What?You actually think you have the capability to do so?And you think China will sit and not retaliate? Before Indian Navy is even near China shores China will retaliate.Keep in mind that their Armed Forces are far more bigger then yours. You people are smoking some good ****.Man get on earth.India is not US.Heck Even US will lose large part of it's fleet if it tries to block China's shores.

Obviously the damaged part of the road will be rebuilt. Not because of the military trade, but because it affects daily trade worth millions of local people.

As far as trade of military is concerned, i don't think the road is a preffered route. It is long, very unpredictable since many parts are susceptible to land slides and is often closed for hours.

Plus the military trade can always take place through air.

After that Indian army might try to find out some other way of blocking it.:chilli:

Dong Feng 21 missile is significant in that it covers the areas that are likely hot zones for future confrontations between U.S. and Chinese surface forces.

The size of the missile enables it to carry a warhead big enough to inflict significant damage on a large vessel, providing the Chinese the capability of destroying a U.S. supercarrier in one strike.

Because the missile employs a complex guidance system, low radar signature and a maneuverability that makes its flight path unpredictable, the odds that it can evade tracking systems to reach its target are increased. It is estimated that the missile can travel at mach 10 and reach its maximum range of 2000km in less than 12 minutes.

Supporting the missile is a network of satellites, radar and unmanned aerial vehicles that can locate U.S. ships and then guide the weapon, enabling it to hit moving targets.

The ASBM is said to be a modified DF-21

While the ASBM has been a topic of discussion within national defense circles for quite some time, the fact that information is now coming from Chinese sources indicates that the weapon system is operational. The Chinese rarely mention weapons projects unless they are well beyond the test stages.

If operational as is believed, the system marks the first time a ballistic missile has been successfully developed to attack vessels at sea. Ships currently have no defense against a ballistic missile attack.

LOL yeah i can see Indians blocking:rofl::toast_sign:

That's a bit of a delusion.

Including all it's R&D facilities that are in China

Typical delusion of Indians

Pakistan tested its Shaheen-I missile terminal guidance system in 1999 while Chinese did it by mid of this decade

For Indians things are always quite simple anything that Pakistan produces have to be imported because if india has failed to produce similar quality how could Pakistan do it? So they usually find a weapon with some sort of similarity if any and start with the only thing they can do best ie propaganda

Most of the time they will be so delusional and blinded by their hate against Pakistan that they don’t even stop to see if there is even some similarity between weapons before stating their propaganda

For them Shaheen-II with Launch Weight of 25000 kg is is nothing but a imported M-18 with Launch Weight of only 7000 kg

Same is the case for the Hatf 2A Abdali SRBM , Hatf 3 Ghaznavi SRBM , Hatf 4 Shaheen 1 MRBM.

Another example would be of Raad ALCM, for Indians change the shape of MUPSOW, place of air intake and controls on missiles, stretch the airframe and you will have Raad ALCM .

Not only air but through sea as well.In fact the karakoram route is soo rough only a fool would think that we would transfer weapons from this route.

and we all know who is thinking about it closely in light of above article.. :cheesy:

Good Going Indians .U have the ability to block Pakistani shore and sut off china's trade . I think u all think from Mr. Kapoor's brain ,which i had doubt about .
First of all u can have whtever in ur wet dreams but in reality Ur gov will be more thn pi**ed off to do anything like tht . and i think ur Navy personnal are intelligent enough not to do this mistake .
