Giving preference to children, old, infirm is understandable..........but, when it comes to able bodied women and men, the preference should be EQUAL........
We should do away with these old, male-chauvinistic protocols of preferring/giving extra privilege to Women thinking they are weak.........
Modern women think they're equal to men in every aspect and don't want men to look at them as weak and incapable......they want to end all discrimination..............in that spirit, we should scrap these old, discriminatory, male-chauvinistic protocols.

The idea behind saving woman and children first is western one. But uncivilized 3rd worlders can't make up their own mind. I will personally hate being left behind because of woman(unless she is relative), childrens are ok.

Otherwise there should be toss to decide.

You are actually right. Saving old /disable/sick people and children on priority basis make sense but there is no logical explaination of saving adult woman before adult man unless we assume life of woman is more precious than man

What do you mean? Children and old people are vulnerable and weaker among others who rely on others for their defence even during non emegency situtations but adult man or woman is different matter

No women claim that they are equal to man and are not weaker in any sense and can do any job man does from soldier to pilots and from scientist to working in fields so then adult men is as vulneable as adult woman during rescue mission and also old man is as vulenable as old woman so here picking old women before old man is discrimination

Sure, from a feminist point of view, you might be correct. But do you honestly believe a women has the same resilience as men on the average?
