If my word holds any ground as a kashmiri. I don't think pakistani kashmiri civilians want heads of indian soldiers in revenge, uf pakistan and india want to do something for the locals , and if i am their voice is would say please stop fighting. Its a narrow strip there is no alternate route sadly only chinese could build roads that high and cut maintains.. The existing road was made by the army its a very good quality road but at one point it comes diretly infront of the dotted line on gps and there are 3 check posts directed at it. They oversee that part. So.... Yea thats what i collect from google earth. Im sure there are slow paced smaller routes back south but as far as i know its better to stay away from that road as it is overlooked by both armies.

Its sad to see in 2019 people of pakistan and india face problems the same ones they had 70 years ago. Or the problems similar to freaking horror towns of syria and iraq. Pakistan and india could have done better... Its a pitty we can fight destroy kill but we cant love, forgive or build. Eithe of us are same....

Most of them died of cold, fatigue, lack of food , few surrendered, few ran away from posts when reinforcement did not reach this saved their lives .in the end it was cowardice on part of musharraf who abandoned own soldiers to die on hill .he should be punished.

No. I know people who fought in Kargil, that's not how it went down lol. Most of them made it back, and to this day Point 5353, the dominant feature of the region, is under our control.
