Indian army has probably forgotten the Kargil war - Pervez Musharraf

. .
Indian army has probably forgotten the Kargil war - that may be true - but it is Pakistan that is still paying the price for the General's great folly.

If he had a shred of integrity, which is doubtful, he’d keep his trap shut about Kargil and all the unnecessary damage he caused, both the folly of it and the loss of NLI.

.
Seriously I remember Kargil war like yesterday. There was not a noise on Pakistani side while India. TV were showing their Bollywood celebrities going to LOC to buckup the soldiers.
Obviously they were demoralised and needed all they , while our army had no such problems.
Be fucking cause in the eyes of public we had no army regulars fighting overthere. The whole war was kept secret and very little was known.
On the other hand indian army performed quite poor because they lost their important check posts and large part of territory to few army troops in comparison with no army and airforce support on Pakistani side.Despite being large in nos and with airforce support they took a long time to clear the area.Even then it was not completely cleared ,when Nawaz Sharif ran to America we had to pull back our troops from that territory.
Imagine Pakistan army with full support and air force India did not have any chance.

Likewise we had no loss of life while our siders were up on the mountain. All casualties happened when "Phattoo" Nawaz Sharif asked the army to retreat and had no balls to ask India for a formal cease fire.
Indians used our retreating soldiers as target practice. That's why Musharraf was so peeved and removed Buzdil sharif

Because we captured the most favourable and strategic peaks which indians were desperate to take back from us.At that height it was difficult to reach and the firepower was simply not effective.
Using the same advantage we managed to cut their supply line.
The only fear of phattoo Sharif was that India will open the Lahore border and that will turn into a full scale war but in my humble opinion that was not going to happen because at that time we were nuclear power.
Musharraf knew these things better as a military commander and he has all the right reasons to get pissed off at phattoo Sharif when he saw all hard work, opportunity and sacrifices of his army men go in vain.

Please stop spewing that utter non sense. It doesn't helps us.

I think my friend, you are among those who have taken your posts count too seriously.
Butt turned a very promising situation in Kargil in to draw down for Pakistan army by siding with India.
Don't you remember Butt's comments that PA back stabbed the PM of India!!
Butts are "Ghaddar" they should be tried for treason.

Why would India forget Kargil ?

It was just another failed attempt by Pakistan to take Kashmir by force. Also, the negative perception it created for Pakistan worldwide, Pakistan is still only trying to get rid of that.

Musharraf keeps trying to turn his embarrassing failure into a victory purely out if his ego and to hide his shame.

.
Indian Army has indeed forgotten the Kargil War that's why they managed to so easily annex Kashmir without firing a single bullet.

Thank you useless PM Khan. You will be remembered as the Kashmir Loser.

.
Kargil tilted the western world towards India especially USA.

This war was a game changer for the sub continent. It aligned India with USA and toppled the govt of Pakistan.[/QUOTĺ

Pakistan ALREADY has domain over 35% of Kashmir........:azn:, China 20% and india occupies 45%.........great odds by Pakistan.....:

Considering the fact that Pakistan is more than 7× smaller than india, the above is an incredible feat by Pakistan.........:azn:...... Kargil 1999 is just another reminder to india of it's severe weakness, powerlessness and inability to compete with let alone take on the Pakistan military despite being more than 7x bigger than Pakistan...........:azn:

Pakistan reigns over 35% of Kashmir and China, 25%:

So annexing your own territory and oppressing a minority is a big achievement?........:disagree:

Pakistan has not annexed the 35% Kashmir under its control. India has successfully managed to annex the 45% Kashmir under its control.

Get your facts straight brother.

What's the point of "annexing" it when it is already ours and the people are with us???..................Pakistanis are not sadists..........:disagree:

The 1947-1948 war only ended on the agreement that neither side will annex the regions under their control and allow the Kashmiri people to decide whether they want to be with India or Pakistan.

The threat of full scale war had prevented these annexations for 72-years, until this useless tree-hugging PM Khan came to power.

Pakistan took that 35% before Kashmir became a part of India with the signing of the Instrument of
Accession. After Indian Army was air dropped, Pakistan couldn't advance any further, in fact they had to retreat from some parts.

I am sure you already know this. This is basic Kashmir history 101 but continue trolling.
