MNS and SS are not representatives of all Indians. Nationalist chauvinism is just their party agenda, otherwise these bozos are good for nothing. In other regions, such rabid ultra-nationalism hardly exists and that is why legends like Ghulam Ali performs regularly in Kolkata and is received with great admiration.

ecause Bollywood is in Maharashtra which is ruled by a radical Nationalist party that even can't tolerate their own countrymen. Pakistani artistes would not be facing any difficulty performing in other part of the country.

Actually if my observation is correct, these "hyper-nationalists" are slowly losing ground and people are beginning to realize their flawed "nationalism". They went through a crazy high from the end of 2014 to about mid 2016 but now the tide is slowly but surely turning and common sense and rationalism are starting to prevail.
