About Players like Mnaoj Tiwark,Ashok Dinda,they r paid handsomely for playing in IPL,apart from that they r employed by good Private companies.About IPL,even Bangladesh has its own version of IPL but it is not that popular compared to IPL. The budget of IPL is more then then buget of Bangladesh Cricket Board.Just make a comparrison of the players earnings who play for IPL,the popularity of IPL and the amount of viewers
Sushmita Sen, Mithun, Rani Mukherjee, Kajal, Konkana Sen: None of them are famous for Bengali movies. They are famous for hindi movies. Those people have contribution for only hindi culture & media, not for Bangla culture. Although I dont like their movies, but if they performed more Bangla movies, then Bangla movies could get more commercial success.
Well I can't understand Bengali nor I watch Bengali movies. They have acted in Bengali movies. I can't say whether they were sucessful or not. But many Hindi movies & songs have been copied from Bengali films.
If WB joins BD, then the population would be 25 crore (It will become 4th largest nation-in terms of population), then united BD also can offer big market & lucrative opportunities; It can attract more foreign investment.

A Big No.Recently Bangladesh had its first Hindu Judge after 44 years.How many Hindu Bengalis had migrated to Bangladesh in the last 3 decades.About atracting foreign investment,already due to current political voilence & strikes in Bangladesh,many export orders have been lost & foreign buyers are going to other countries.Yr economy has taken a heavy battering. If this continues the damage will be irreparable
Consequently more job opportunities will be created. If u want 2 migrate for better opportunities, u should migrate 2 USA, Canada or Australia (better than Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru).
Instead of comparing with USA,Canada,why don't u compare Dhaka with Bangalore or Bombay,Are u aware of the number of IT & software firms operating in Bangalore, their turnover,their profits & the number of ppl employed. Well Bombay's revenue is several times higher then Bangaldeshis Annual Budget. Both Bombay & Banglaore r well ahed of Dhaka

About Bengal, (even 150 years ago), East and West Bengal initially shared a common culture, common mentality, common history,common language.
it was Bengali Muslims only who wanted a separate homeland in the begininging,now u r saying East and West Bengal initially shared a common culture, common mentality, common history,common language. Bangladesh is heavily Islam dominated. This merger or honeymoon won't even last 3 months.
