Why you don't like discounted goods or property ?

It looks good for a while but it will have reverse effect on the economy. When business are making less profit who do you think they will axe first?? Their workers because they are the biggest liability for their business.

Who will invest in real estate if the prices are dropping??

It is good time for buyer but bad time for investor and business person. My prediction is that rupee will gain in value and may reach ₹50 for a dollar in a years time.

The black money locked in form of currency was never ever in circulation. If anything, there would be an increase in supply due to black market people trying to convert as much money as they can into white.

If what you are saying is true then you will see inflation in near future and interest rates for houses will go up.But the amount of black money in the system is difficult to quantify.

We change our notes every once in a while too, does that mean no one can replicate them?.
Even blind people can tell between the value of Euros by their size among different things. Nothing new.
Have you seen the new bills?. Or are they yet to be distributed?
All in all, I'd humbly suggest you to keep Pakistan out of this. This is more of an inconvenience to the Indian rather than anyone else. Tend to those people who stuffed these notes in their mattresses as a lifetime of saving. Knowing poverty is rife in this region.

I didn't quite understand the point. Seriously. A significant portion of the notes circulating in India are forged, and it is known where they are printed, how they are shipped out, where they are finally shipped to, and how they are circulated. It is impossible to catch the very large numbers involved and impossible to guard the very large extent of territory used for smuggling.

We would be eternally grateful if you stayed out of this.

I think instead of paper notes plastic ones should have been introduced, Indians have a bad habit of writing on notes. Should have asked assistance from Canada or Australia regarding the same.
