India working massively over time control technology? Dr. David Anderson

O Rly?

- How exactly are the atomic clocks proven?
There's not just a single space agency that has performed these experiments. Independent scientists have sent payloads to space to conduct their own experiments and have observed the same results.
- How did the MEASURE the bending of light in the solar eclipse? Is it within standard measuring ability to measure such minute angles?
The results were inaccurate at first in 1919, but when same experiments were repeated by other scientists who didn't believe Einstein, results were found to be accurate and as per Einstein's prediction.
The experiment was done again by a team from the Lick Observatory in the 1922, then by University of Texas in 1973 by using the most accurate instruments.
- Circular orbit? I think you mean elliptical orbit. What does that prove, other than 'gravity' (which is still undefined and 'isolated') causes it. Does any experiment prove the Lorentz equation?
I meant the circular orbit described by Newton which turned out to be false. Orbits were elliptical, not because of gravity, but because of the way gravitational waves work. Study Keplar's laws and General relativity to understand more.
People feel that orbits are really elliptical, but even this is not really true. Truth is, the planetary perturbations are extremely complicated and the resulting shape of the orbit is not an ellipse. In fact, when doing high-precision orbit determination, we actually express the eccentricity as a function of time, implying that the shape of the orbit is not described by a single ellipse. In addition, the orbits precess, implying that the orientation of the "ellipse" is also changing with time.
I know there are more 'professed experiments' you haven't mentioned, and all of them are seriously flawed. There are a lot of fake data out there, even among the hard-core scientists.

None were flawed. Its just your incomplete knowledge that makes you feel so. You should study more.

I hope I put everyone's doubt to rest, so I won't be posting more, unless someone wants me to.

Thanks for paying attention (if you did) :P

I don't understand anything.
Am I too dumb or it is very 'High Class' to understand.

on a liter note:

now I know why we do not meet deadlines of the projects like Arjun, Lca in DRDO cause those guys behind extraordinary in the hills of pune. lol...
and what the heck Shrimati Pratibha Patil achieved in Science and technology that she is president.

Hahaha....I agree. Even I do not understand what actually is the topic, expect that some vague idea which I learnt in college. Seems it is too complex to be learnt.

^^^ He is probably talking about Dr. Kalam as he was the President when this interview was taking place. But Presidents before also have been Doctors (in Economics, Philosophy e.t.c.)/Engineers/Academics .

Dude Einstein theory took 20yrs to prove. When he published his paper in 1905 there was no one in the scientific community who believed it. If you see all modern inventions would have been dismissed as fairy tale couple of centuries ago. Thats the power of unknown knowledge.

We cannot discount anything as farce just because there is no proof to it. Maybe we are not understanding it due to lack of knowledge or ways to prove it with current technology.

As I said we may require more studies to understand the dynamics around this.

Example CERN project to prove big bang theory.

Astronomy is one of my Much favorite subject, although i have never taken astronomy class yet.

all i have learned is through Google.

about time travel, Even today world scientist do not know, if time travel is possible.

there are many theories on it. for example one of theory is that, Let's say you travel into past and killed your grandpa, THAN how is possible that you born??

so some scientists came up with, that they say maybe there is more than one universe just like there are billion of galaxies.

SO time travel is actually, you travel into another universe, where everything is same as in another universe.

Indeed, this universe topic is VERY VERY complex and Hats off to Einstein for giving one of his famous theory to the world.

I JUST LOVE LOVE ASTRONOMY.

This is as dangerous as dividing by 0.

Ok, lets clear the doubts here.

Is time travel Possible???

YES

Is it ever going to happen???
For short durations (microseconds)

YES

Is it ever going to happen for more than a few microseconds??

NO

WHY??

because time travel doesn't work with anything other than great velocities. To travel in time, a body needs to move with great velocities approaching the speed of light, which would never be possible with human effort. Only in some places in the universe, like an event horizon of a quasar or a black hole is it possible, but they are millions of light years away.

Is it possible to send things to future or past????

YES. Now that is interesting. There are ways in which few particles can be sent into future. Any one interested to know more can ask me, cause its my fav study (ASTROPHYSICS) and if I start writing about it, I am going to write pages and pages. LOL.

Please let us know the JF17 thunder avionics :pop: using the future technology

. . .
Time travel into Future:

Time travel into future is very much possible. According to Einstein's General relativity and Lorrentz Transformations, as the velocity of a body increases in space so does its length, and mass. Also the time starts slowing down for the body. That means, if the body is moving at velocities equal to 90% of that of light, relativistic the factor becomes 2.294157338705618

That means that 1 year for that body would seem to be 2.294 years for someone back on Earth.

After a period of ten years, when the body is brought back to rest, the people on earth would have lived 22.941 years. In theory the body would have gone 12.941 years into the future.

The effects of relativity are negligible at velocities less than 50% of that of light.

We know that small particles can be made to accelerate to 99% of velocity of light, that means for them, time would slow down a lot. It is then that real effects of relativity can be seen.

Huge lasers can be used to accelerate particles to high velocities. But as the mass of the body increases, it becomes tougher and tougher to accelerate it so sending something big to future would be almost impossible.

Just a doubt...When a mass travels at the velocity of light then it gets converted into energy. Thats what E=mc^2 implies right?...so how are you planning to convert energy back into matter?

no. E=mc2 is energy mass equivalence relation and used to calculate the amount of energy released if mass is annihilated.

It has nothing to do with velocity. c in the equation is the speed of light which is constant.

As the mass approaches velocities equal to the speed of light, the mass of the body becomes infinite and that is why it is impossible to accelerate a body to such high speeds.

. .
I noticed that einsteins equation

e=mc^2 is very similar to Ek=0.5mv^2

is there a link between the two?
