India warns of joint Sino-Pakistani border threat

The presence of PLA troops on Pakistan's Kashmir border has led the Indian Army to warn that close ties between Islamabad and Beijing could harm India

•The general responsible for India's northern border has said that China and Pakistan could launch joint operations along the line of control

Absolutely Amazing statements --- Why has the Indian Army chosen this time to make such a statement? Whose attention did they hope to attarct and what evidence is there that these statements have been noted in far away capitals and military institutions?

I would suggest that US and NATO have not been able to offer the kind of "assurances" Indian friends may have hoped for, on the other hand, I suppose much will depend on whom Indian friends will choose to spend significant sums on -- and curiously it has not attracted even the attention of the Fauj - and this suggests that these are not serious statements but more in line with media hype.

. .
Why do Indians like "RayBan" think they can speak on behalf of Chinese people?

Pakistan is our closest ally, they are MUCH more than just a geographic advantage.

I guess its good in a way that Indians are voicing their opinions because India is the biggest enemy for Pakistan. And whatever Indians say or want Pakistan to do, we will do the opposite.

:pakistan: :china:

So true, India wants you to be progressive, curb violence, moderate...

Have you read what I wrote, or you playing dirty?
Dont mind him, hes just flirting with you. When he goes on about "azad kashmir" , "baltistan", take note that its just a " solidarity rant". Not because he knows jack about it. You can hear the same tape running over and over again.......dont believe me? Check out his awesome post history

Besides, china cannot afford a war and the entire pakistan strategy is based on attrition. If they start getting the "patriotic itch" and decides to irk the "most vile and eveeil" bharat, they'll just have to hold it in.

China can't afford a war? We have 2.8 trillion in currency reserves, the highest in the world BY FAR.

Anyway, it's pointless talking about it, because India can't do anything.

Even after the Mumbai attacks, India couldn't do ANYTHING. They falsely accuse Pakistan of being responsible, yet were too scared of Pakistan's allies (China+America) to do anything about it.

You think that we "can't do jack" about it, but you have already proven that you can't do anything.

You have two trillion reserve in "greenback".

That aside, lets move on to the "conflict" *gag me* "scenario".

After the mumbai attacks, i was an angry guy...and hoped the government would grow a backbone and attack pakistan. Then i realized such a move by india was un necessary.

If india attacks pakistan now, the whole broken country would unite. Why would we ever want that to happen? I dont know if india has a hand in it, but pakistan is effectively being consumed by itself. Our inaction proved beneficial after all. They have divided idealogies, active islamist militant groups, terrorist cells and recently, seperatists. Their military stretched thin, and further weakened by wars not of their own. A country, of failed policies, governence and ton of mistakes.

Do i think india needs to enter pakistan overtly? Not in a million years! Covertly? Sure! After all, who wants rivals to gain the upper hand?

PS: A war will ruin china. The economy and most likely, the infrastructure. This is not the india of 70's . You would do very well to remember that.

On top of that, a war not result in india fighting a defensive battle.......or alone. There are a whole host of nations and vested intrests that want to see china go down the proverbial sink hole.

You couldn't do anything, because you know that America needs Pakistan for the War on Terror, and China needs Pakistan for Gwadar/Pipelines/KKH.

Pakistan+America+China was too much for you.

Also, where is the evidence that the Pakistani government was responsible for the Mumbai attacks?

Has the UN declared that the Pakistani government is repsponsible? No.

Yeah, in 1962, our economies were about the same size.

Today, our economy is four times bigger than yours, with commensurate military spending.

That said though... I hate war... and I hope it never happens.

I would only support a war with India, if it involves "self-defence" of our territory, or the defence of Pakistan. Otherwise, I will be 100% against it.

Same here too, Pakistan is our biggest enemy, whatever they want us to do we will do the opposite...Eg: IPL, etc,etc...

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

So what your armed forces were doing after parliament attack? or Mumbai Slaughter ?

Pakistan can be dealt with one hand .....You can't DARE to cross our border..events during last decade show it...Only talking and talking like little girls

Oh by the way, keep on bragging about your budget when no one even gives a about your 'forces' LOL

We are nuclear now, genius.Stop dreaming about handling us with "one hand" ....First handle your falling migs and falling tanks (in the well)

You guys are crossing borders for nothing, what you achieved by crossing?... Still Kashmir is with us...

I honestly wish you'd stop reiterating the same worn out verbal diarrhea over and over again. Read my post in its entirety. I didnt like it when our government sat on its derriere doing absolutely nothing. It turned out to be a blessing in diguise didnt it? Pakistan is fast becoming another state focused on islamic fundamentalism. There is conflict everywhere. "Foreign aid" is the primary sustenence for the state. Do you honestly believe that if the semblence of democracy in pakistan breaks under a revolution, that china can afford to prop it up? Or if the country cracks under a civil war, will china suppress the uprising?

Islamic fundamentalism is a funny thing, they cannot tolerate anything un-islamic. You should read more into it before playing that broken record of yours.....again....-.-
