‘Pakistan has built low-yield nuclear weapons to counter Indian aggression’
WASHINGTON: Pakistan has made low-yield nuclear weapons in response to India’s actions under its cold-start doctrine, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhary told a news briefing here on Tuesday.
Out of all places, Pakistan confirmed the existence of tactical nuke on American soil!! What else you need towards confirmation? Is the foreign secretary level not enough for you?
It is widely reported that the second phase of nuclear testing done by Pakistan in Kharan Baluchistan (Not Chagai) back in 1998, was these low yield warheads.
As I said to one of your kind, (as you are not paying attention to what was discussed previously), India own behaviour and response on hearing about Pakistani tactical nukes is a give away. India wants to respond with strategic nukes in reply to the use of tactical nukes by Pakistan on Indian forces. That in itself is clear indicator of non existence of tactical nukes in Indian inventory. These miniaturised nukes are work of art, which comes with extreme design complexities and demands very high level of technical knowhow!
NASR got absolutely nothing to do with our tactical nukes. They were developed long before NASR was even envisaged. NASR is JUST ONE of the delivery vehicle to carry these beasts. You can add, RAAD and BABUR to many different array of weapons system which can be equipped with them.
