3 years and not spending enough money on research and calling itself a nationalist government and fake made-in-india campaign?

Ordering helmets after 3 years in office?
And want to fight two front war with China & Pakistan?
Lol
No wonder the following outrage from Indians against PM:
Well, this is also a part of make in India. Russia has already lost the tracked artillery to the Koreans, and the BMP replacement with the FICV. The way things are going, they're going to lose the T72 replacement as well.
The IA is at fault as well. There's a demand for jackets, carbines, etc. yet they themselves prolong the process.
Don't see you questioning the Congressis who were in power for the last decade?
The crux of the matter is India losing on make-in-India, as for the Tanks. Which is a big ticket item.
So both, IA and GOI are at fault for not taking care of its own soldiers, yet issuing tall statements like fighting two front war?
Laughable.
the Kanpur-based MKU Industries has been contracted to manufacture 1.58 lakh helmets in a deal worth Rs. 170 and 180 crore, and the production of the new helmets is now beginning.India wants the most advance protection system for its newly ordered 464 T-90MS Tanks
India wants everything state of the arts.
But what about simple helmets for its army men?
The Indian Army has a shortage of close to 390,000 bullet-proof helmets.
The new government is already sitting in the office for 3 years.
Not even adequate helmets for its infantrymen?
And talking big?
Shame?
This way India is stuck with Russia forever. Because such news has penetrated long before this article.
So what is the real meaning of "make-in-India"?
Only to fool Indians for votes?
This is being assembled in India, but this ISN'T the big ticket tank program that's coming up.
Watch the FICV program, where several private firms are competing to replace the older Russian BMP2s. The T72 replacement will run in the same fashion.
TATA Motors
TATA Power SED
Mahindras, L&Ts, several others are running to secure this program.
Two private firms will be shortlisted, so two dedicate armored manufacturing plants will come up. Not to mention L&T will also raise a dedicated armored manufacturing plant as well for the K9 thunders.
So THREE plants dedicated for armor production, testing under the private sector will come up vs. the one or two controlled by OFB since independence. Make in India for defence and aerospace is looking very good buddy.
Sure, but at least the ball is rolling.
What is make-in-india without your own input & (lack of) research funds?
GOI fooling Indians by writing off hefty sum to its friendly industrialists, yet no funds for research:
Go figure!
I don't think the Russians have a hard kill APS, do they ? links ?Active protection systems have saved the lives of dozens of tank crew deployed in Israeli combat operations in Gaza and have now been deployed by the Russian Army in operations in Syria.
