India v England 2nd Test Chennai February 13-17, 2021

The issue regarding Moeen Ali is a separate problem. It is very much connected to the hatred of the Indian state towards the nation state of Pakistan.

Notwithstanding that, that India's apparent intolerance of being beaten by a superior team who play higher quality cricket (certainly evident in Kohli's childish behaviour at being bowled by Moeen) has resulted in the inevitable 2nd test dustbowl is all too predictable. We all knew this would happen. It's nothing special to dustbowl a touring white team. It's frankly pathetic.

Dust bowls for white teams, obfuscation by biased umpires, and refusing to walk when clean bowled - I'm sure Gatting had a tour to Pakistan which was quite similar. India is doing this sort of rubbish in 2021.

We remember the stick they both came in for over the last five years. You may conveniently brush it under the carpet. Just ask yourself if an Aussie had refused to walk against Bumrah or some other Indian bowler, what would the fallout have been? Paine was bending over backwards apologising to you because of some sledging. Indians do as they please and nobody touches them because everyone knows India can take their ball away if they so feel.
First of all, he did not "refuse to walk", guy was just a bit taken aback by the sharp spin and bounce and asked a question.. and he well within his rights to do so.

Not a huge fan of the dustbowl/minefields either, 3 days games make for poor viewing anyway. Having said that, it was anyone's toss to win. India could have been in the shitter had they lost the toss as well.

Few of our guys, Siraj and some others came in for apparent racial heckling by the crowds in Melbourne or something.. didn't follow the whole thing.

Anyway, let's see how the Indian batsmen manage tomorrow, and then off to Ahmedabad for the next 2. Let us also try and keep the Hindu-Muslim thing away from this, shall we ?

.
Quite funny for idiotic people to say Kohli didn't move cos Moeen is a Muslim. How stupid can one get?
In IPL, Moeen plays for RCB captained by Kohli. Guess who is instrumental for getting him in the team in the first place.
When educated "Muslims" in first world country think like this, just think how people think in their majoritarian home societies.
You, @Protest_again and your buddy @-=virus=- have deliberately failed to read the criticism directed towards your deceptive little nation. It doesn't surprise me since you are a product of said nation.

We're well aware that Muslims per se are not a problem for you. As long as you can keep them under control as "house Muslims", you're more than happy to gush over the likes of Muhammad Siraj in the interests of tokenism. If I was Hindu Indian, I too would visit his house and take pictures with him - looks great for publicity - see? We love muzzies really! Just one or two, mind you.....and they must be the "right" sort of muzzie.

Overlapping to a degree is the anti-Pakistani trait - it's purely an anti-Pakistani attack when you bash Moeen. And it's pathetic. Don't make me show you the Twitter posts from your countrymen related to Ali. I've been to many matches in England, and we all heard the "p*k* in disguise" chants that day, not from the whites as they used to be fifty years back, but now from those members of a certain south Asian contingent who have adopted the PRECISE phraseology once used by whites to bash all of us. The police labelled it as a hate related attack. Don't think we're all such idiots though, as to fall for the India does yoga and smiles public face.

You're the same nation that immediately hits Google about Rihanna's religious and racial background after she lends support to a bunch of Sikhs - expecting to find some "Ahmed" in her lineage somehow. It's quite laughable to imply you're not in the slightest bit bothered when someone with Pakistani roots does you over.

Fundamental misunderstanding of dustbowl policy here. England cannot hope to compete on such a pitch, regardless of who bats when, because England never produces such rubbish pitches. Some spin is expected, but this is like what all subcontinent teams used to do 40 odd years back. Surely you've learned to move beyond that tactic by now??

Yup. When visiting teams got bowled out for like less than 100 nearly 5 times in the last 5 years in England is not rubbish pitches then what is?

Lol. If Indian heritage in UK has a problem booing Moeen then its your problem. Unlike Pak we don't have dual citizenship policy.

All I saw your folks love for Sikhs till an Indian Sikh married an Pakistani origin Malaysian Muslim girl. So don't give lessons. We don't go around blowing people of different religions or calling them Kaffirs.
Pakistani Muslims should be in the last line of hypoxritic defence to talk about hypocrisy of followers of other religions. This thread itself is an testament to your mentality.

We've won 2 away test series against Australia on the trot, we do as we please.

Will zaleel Engistan in Ahmedabad and all through the t20s and odis too :D

.
why did England dropped Anderson and Archer in this match when both were instrumental in their first test match victory. Is England really serious for this test series ?
Archer is injured and Anderson needs to rest . Anderson is seriously getting on at 38 for a fast bowler and has to be rested.

As Sir Andrew Straus remarked while discussing this match. Nobody in the England side criticise when England after losing a test suddenly find that the next test is played on a lush green top with more grass any anyplace else in the world to especially suit English bowlers.

Chew on that. :P

Your country, fans and players have ruined cricket for millions of fans around the world.

Your pathetic, puerile, infantile boycott of Pakistan continues unabated. Allowing your anti-Pakistan, anti-Mughal hatred to leach into international sports is sheer toxicity. As if this isn't enough, folks like Moeen or Khawaja have come in for additional stick from your fans and press and players purely because of their origins.

It's pathetic and infantile, embarrassing to all grown men everywhere, yet it continues because nobody in India can actually apply checks and balances to such nonsense without being labelled as a terrorist sympathiser.

Honestly, I used to love cricket. With you lot in charge though, you simply take the ball away when you don't like how things are.
What a rant. Anti Mughal? You have nothing to do with Mughals.
When have Khawaja or Moeen been abused?

People in your country literally shot at a bus filled with Sri Lankan players. Talk about ruining the sport.

And in every generation, there seems to be some match fixer / spot fixer emerging - Salim Malik, Kaneria, Butt, Amir

That doesn't take away from Pakistani greats like Akram or Youhana or Zaheer Abbas.

India refuses to play Pakistan in bilateral series due to political intervention by a political party. India doesn't refuse merely to play in Pakistan on security grounds. Or do they not explain this reality to you in Srivastava Daily News? Do they perhaps convince you that you live in a democracy where at least sports - never mind the church - is separated from the state?

There is no one political party. India has refused bilateral series with Pakistan since 2008 - 26/11 when the Congress was in power.

And this isn't the first hiatus - India and Pak did not play each other from 1962 to 1977 either. Of course Pak is more keen to play now because of monies involved.

India also did not play South Africa in the Davis Cup finals as a matter of policy against apartheid and gave SA a walk over - probably losing India's only chance at ever winning the Davis Cup.

Congress, BJP....potato, potato.

Why does India do stupid boycotts in sports then if it results in you shooting yourselves in the foot? No Pakistan because of "terrorism", no South Africa because of Apartheid, no football world cup in 1950 because we boycotted football boots.

India's decision. Why does it bother you? Didn't Pakistan boycott the Moscow Olympics in 1980?

Yah but we don't then whinge about what we ourselves did....."ooooh we could have won the Davis Cup".

Don't worry, you've got Pakistan's daughter-in-law to build your next Davis Cup team around.

India took its own decision to boycott. You followed your American masters in 1980.

Well, thanks for the misogynistic statement about Samia Mirza. Don't worry - when you ever beat India in the Davis Cup, let me know.

Tennis is a rubbish sport full of prima donnas.

Look how they cried recently when forced to quarantine in Australia. I've never seen such an entitled bunch of finger fidgety social media posters, expecting some sort of sympathy from the rest of us locked down peoples of the world for their perilous plight.
