India using loitering weapon in Kashmir

India is having both Harpys and Harops in their inventory. Ironically one Harop costs $2 m to India.

These munition can be made ineffective by using strong electronic jammers.

Or even shooting them down with a laser or a radar tracked gun...

This is not a Harpy drone strike, Harpys do not have terminal flight with a solid fuel rocket booster. And using Harpy against a target like that is just an overkill.

Yep, was thinking why would they use a loitering munition, when they have clear LOS and can target directly via an ATGM.

More clear pic post soon. ... this seems delta shaped loitering weapon ..flying pattern and hitting the target is exactly same used in NK war. But this is not ATGM. This is new level of war.
Oh bhai its not loitering weapon harpy and harop using turboprop engine, whereas this pic clearly shows smoke trails which means its either powered by turbofan or rocket engine and its definitely some kind of ATGM or ground to ground missiles and don't disinform the whole PDF

I always talked about Suicide drones in my past posts and why these kinds of drone should be used in massive numbers against our mentally unstable neighbor's nalaik army suffering from Hindutva disease.
Stop predending like you dont know what your ISI boys are upto.
Proxy warfare is unacceptable. Terrorists are unacceptable.
It has been made clear that the costs of sustaining the proxy warfare are no longer affordable for Pakistan and every infiltration attempt will further raise the lethality of these strikes.

It is russian made weapon . Never seen India use it

This type of weapon only seen when have full scale war
The Kornet operates similar to other so-called anti-tank guided missiles, or ATGMs, used.

You means loitering munition as OP claimed or Israeli ATGM named SPIKE, Which India recently bought from Israel???

What type of weapon you refer too please explain loitering munitions or ATGM?

This is a Israeli harpy - India bought them a while back. Same weapon used in Karabakh - Azeri Armenian conflict.

Being smaller in size, their RCS is low enough to be ignored by radar as birds. I heard that Israeli Harop engine is noiseless, if this is true, it will be difficult to locate and track visually even if these munition hover at lower altitude. The best defense is electronic jammers.

Thread locked confirmed ATGM.
