What's new

India to soft land on the moon in 2017.

Have you read PDF of that time. They congratulated each others and celebrated a lot saying that it was world's best satellite.

Adn this comes from a citizen of a first world country who has eliminated all poverty and his country is a paradise.

May be GSLV MK2.
This is absolutely shameful response instead of accepting the stupidity of government spenditur u telling that so what u are poor too.
Pakistan is way better than India if u compare poverty. There is a lot of work to be done but we are not ignoring our people and spending on things we don't need.

Indian is only good in lying , like the American. Our lunar rover makes a success landing which is telecast worldwide. With even video of proof from YouTube. So much jealousy from Indians :enjoy:

And did it achieve the objective? Was your objective a launch of moon exploration? It failed immediately after land and you are shamelessly thumping your chest here like you guys do in case of J 20, J 15, J31 etc.

It did achieve the objective. To make a soft landing and explore the moon. Which all is achieved. You claim it failed immediately after landing is a lie.

Dude I love when a Space related thread starts and us Pakistanis are like

put a man into space first, then talk

put a man into space first, then talk

Put a successful probe on moon and than talk.

Put a successful mission to mars and then talk.

Do a multi orbit launch and then talk.

Test a remjet engine and then talk.

Put a mini Hubble type satellite fr space observation and then talk.

We are not going to do this BS man mission without any advantage.

What exploration did it do like our moon mission? Nothing. It just landed and failed.

Standard chinese reply. When you do not have answer, personally attack idians and abuse them. you could not digest my revealing of truth. You guys wanted to shift your failure on Russians.

u make 1 small orbiter sound like a BIG achievement- thus as usual:

Landing itself safely is already a feat not to mention it moves.. Even you Indian has not demonstrated land a rover safely on lunar surface. :enjoy:

ESA just crashed their mars rover. Just show how difficult landing a rover on lunar or mars surface is.

Oh yes, all those were small achievement and a failed moon mission and some people traveling in space is a big achievement. What you have posted applies more to you guys.

Whatever you did is great. Our moon mission was the most successful of all mission and bought a lots of information of moon still it is not great and your failed mission is a great achievement. I appreciate your chest thumping.

BENGALURU: The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has begun conducting simulation tests for its second moon mission, Chandrayaan-II, at its facility in Challakere, about 200km from Bengaluru.

"As of now, some landing tests have kicked off and the project is moving ahead," sources in Isro said. In a statement made in Ahmedabad, Isro chairman A S Kiran Kumar said these tests are 'hazard avoidance and landing exercises'.

The second moon mission is an advanced version of Chandrayaan-I and will consist of an orbiter, lander and a rover.

The mission is aimed at placing an orbiter around the moon and sending a lander and rover to the moon's surface. It'll be launched using the GSLV-MKII, which Isro is testing.

While the initial launch of Chandrayaan-II was scheduled much earlier, failure on part of the Russian space agency (Roscosmos) to supply the lander delayed the project. First conceived as a joint mission with Russia, the project has become India's independent programme.

The tests are simulations of moon landings so as to perfect the conditions on moon. "These are routine tests before any such project. The lander is expected to soft-land on the moon and deploy the rover," said an official.

Good luck ISRO, India.

there's a Chinese informal proverb:

小人物做小事, 大人物做大事

small people do small things, big people do big things

Better translated as =

Inferior people are capable of only inferior achievements. Only the superior ppl are capable of superior achievements

Fits your logic perfectly.
