India to send its first shipment of wheat to Afghanistan through Iran's Chabahar Port

This is great news. It means we have less contact and relations with afghanistan which in fact serves our interests really well. All we need to do now is send home 5-10 million afghans in Pakistan. That will permanently solve our problems.
The main purpose of Chabahar is to export to Afghanistan at least for a starter.Pakistan exports almost 1.5 Billion dollars worth of materials to Afghans annually.
So how come this is a great news for you!!!

I am the game, you don't wanna play me.
I am control, no way you can change me.
I am heavy debt, no way you can pay me.
I am the pain, and I know you can't take me.

Because they are too much of a pain in the ***, we lose more by all the freaking smuggling, refugees, security issues that we have with them

Pakistani population has wiped their hands with the Afghans, they just want border sealed, afghans removed

ISI can them deal with threat from india and Afghanistan inside Afghanistan

Its like air corridor, launched with fanfare and its balls
The same goes for much of Afghanistans exports of fruits and nuts and whatever
Most their population is close to Pakistan sending shit across Afghanistan through dodgy territory them into iran, onto a boat, across the sea, to be unloaded is just B.S

Its why they are threatening us and trying to arm twist us into allowing them and indua access into Pakistan

We lost FAR FAR more due to the WOT and the terrorism inflicted on Pakistan by afghans residing there. Way in access of $100 billion since 2001. The economic gains Pakistan has made and which will grow exponentially thanks to CPEC, FAR exceeds any trade we have with afghanistan. In order for this to continue we need more stability. In order to have more stability in Pakistan we need to completely seal our border with afghanistan, have minimal contact with them and send home virtually all 5-10 million afghans in Pakistan. They are also a burden on our economy. That's why I am happy when afghanistan finds alternatives to continuously parasiting of Pakistan. They have been doing it for 40 years now.

Good

Rarely something happens which makes both the countries happy

thankyou Modi Ji :-)

Dont get me wrong we are going to look to hunt indians in Afghanistan, assets, individuals, economic interests etc

We must remember we are in a pseudo war

But Afghanistan is more trouble then the reward of meager returns

The only thing of interest would be minerals, and if it ever gets peaceful enough to dig some up, China will be first in line and will have full access via CPEC

No worries. And I am sure both our nations are doing what you described to each other not just in Afghanistan but in other parts of the world as well.

Coming to Chabbar. Things will get interesting when the volume increases.
Most important point to note is that moving goods through Iran is much safer than through Pakistan.

The next 5 years are going to be very interesting. Funny how a small port has potential to destroy a long established norm of Pakistan being gateway to Afghanistan.

That part of iran is its most dangerous part

Its where sunni Balochis reside, its prone to both, smuggling and terrorism

From Wagah to peshawar and cross the border has always been straight forward and simple with our road system and upgraded motorways
Its just that we don't give a fcuk and don't want to be part of any trade agreement with India or Afghanistan in this regard

India and Pakistan are enemies its incumbent on us to treat india as a enemy and its actions as hostile.
So a simple road being built in Afghanistan by india is not a road, its a hostile action that needs action

We dont want to hurt india for other nations, we want to hurt india for Pakistan and the betrayal of the occupation of Kashmir.
But if we can facilitate any other country like China to take the place or business from india then its a good step

For those of us who remember Indians as beggars it's rather satisfying to read about India exporting wheat. The Green Revolution was a great accomplishment.

Congrats, this is win win for all except one, Afgans will get wheat, Pakistan will have less burden caused by Afghan trucks which are one of the factor bringing terrorists into Pakistan, Iran will have their port utilized but India has to provide little subsidy due to long route. Since Afghans now have an alternative route, will they stop exporting and importing through Pakistani routes?

. . . .
Im sure this will be a resounding success like their rotting air corridor, maybe now they will finally stop begging us to let their goods through Pakistan.

Is there any estimates for time and costs yet?
