Question for TS. I notice that very often, I saw reports by Indian sources, that India do this or India do that to counter China. Can't India do things out of her own national interest without China? Is India a second fiddle to China?

this is totally understandable. after the 1962 war, they were so scared, the nightmare is on every night.

the interesting part of this ongoing issue is we Chinese don't give a crap.

look at their LCA and Arjun, or maybe their GSLV, their jet engine project. they are 40-50 years away from our current stage and the gap is widening

No man why they keep repeating gap is increasing, is bcoz the way gap is reducing takes their sleep away.. Soon in a decade India would be ahead of them in all key techs.. India is already ahead of them in many weapons techs... its just lagging in fw areas due to budget constraint only.. otherwise we are right up there in most of the tecs and better them them in most...

No use replying to him man...............Apparently Chinese don't have very good memory and can't remember the result of couple of days back discussion on this topic............
Nor can they calculate the libaration of economy gap(which is 20 years) and the Launcher gap( which is 14 years, the difference of introduction between long march 3B and GSLV Mk III, both of which have comparable capacity and are their countries heaviest launch vehicles)
Nor do they remember the tests b/w T-90 and Arjun very well in which Arjun prevailed.
As for the jet engine report, apparently they haven't read it closely, or they would have realised that this is just the confirmatiof that GE 414 engine would be used for LCA Mk.II, which is very old news................they have assumed that this means that the whole project is cancelled....................

In few sectors we are doing better than China but in most of other sectors China is decade(s) ahead of us, we must realize the fact and work hard to improve on that. chauvinism leads to self destruction but internet warriors have the liberty to do that
