India to go ahead with $2.3 billion Turkish shipyard deal

I hope it can't be true, especially during this quarantine time when business is not allowed fully back to normal.
It doesn't affect online work from home businesses. Also you are getting paid directly from CCP's Propaganda funds which is already loaded fully. So, it won't affect your increments and incentives much.

lol,Indians are so naive..I got paid directly from Xi Jingping, What kind of media you guys have been receiving that cause so much damage on your brains, lol..

A nice contract indeed. And for the ones who doesnt know, there is a ban for selling Turkish lethal weapons to India but Support Ships are not lethal weapons, therefore our stance is the same.

Full producing what??? Projects like Tejas show that things can stay being manufactured for decades but that doesnt help the Indian army at all.
First Learn LCA is Aircraft Which is a Equipment of Air force '

why this ban? to support Kashmir?

Do not troll with out any back up knowledge about Naval projects in our shipyards...
Why you Iranian people are trolling with this subject??
1. Im not trolling. I am merely bringing up the fact that Sometimes INdian weapons production is slow.

2. I am not Iranian.

It is mostly for Pakistan's safety. No one wants to see martyred or wounded Pakistani soldiers - civillians because of the Turkish Technology of course. Thats why selling of lethal Turkish weapons to India is banned.

If you see the naval purchase history, you wouldnt ask that question. There is a procedure of first importing and gaining expertise and then indigenising it. Same has happened with frigates, destroyers, submarines and aircraft carriers.

Even you guys started by buying and procuring weapons from Russia and reverse engineering the west and then went on to build up your own base. We cant do the same due to various reasons. So it is a slow and agonizing process for us.

that is good practice but everything that India tried to indigenise ended up sinking.

Ok, strong move by Turkey.

It’s already known that pro-pakistan policy by Turkey especially on kashmir issue is state policy for the last 5 decades (since the establishment of Pakistan-Turkey relations) and this is going to stay forever it’s policy based on principles that nothing especially not money could change it
This deal has passed since it fails in the category of non-lethal weapons it’s more like business/trade deal rather than military deal
That is always an option if Turkey ever tries to meddle in Kashmir militarily or through monetary support. Talk is extremely cheap and has no consequence. As long as their support to Kashmir is only through statements and words, we will do nothing to support PKK or YPG. If it goes beyond that, we would take our own actions.
Wake up turks are already doing military moves against you of course it’s not direct engagement but tell me what do you think against whom will be used turkish modernised agosta 90B submarines atak 129 or future pak-turk deals (UCAVs MANPADs...etc)???
Regarding pkk or in eastern mediterranean you can’t do nothing meaningful other than issuing some anti turkish statements

Agosta 90b is a French Submarine. France exported it to Pakistan. Doesn't mean we will do anything against the French, that is not called a military move, it's called business as usual. If Turkey refuses to modernize it, some other country will do it. atak 129 is again an Italian helicopter, doesn't mean we will do anything against Italy. You are giving these examples to feel good about yourself. Currently Turkey doesn't manufacture any major indigenous weapons. They take European technology, put some red spray paint and put a T against the name. As for UCAVs, Turkey is nowhere near capable of manufacturing UCAVs, you manufacture drones. Big difference. And drones are useless on a heavily militarised border like the loc. Hell they get shot down even in Libya, on the LOC it would be like shooting pigeons. I'm pretty sure even Pakistan wouldn't make such a dumb investment. We were about to make a deal with the US to supply predator and reaper drones but eventually realized they are useless in our situation. Drones can only be used to target weak rebels and terrorists, not modern armies armed with SAMS and modern systems.

As for what we can do against Turkey, what in the world makes you think we can't do anything to support PKK? It's the easiest thing in the world. Russia is one of the biggest allies of India and we all know how much they dislike Turkey. All we have to do is make a call to our friend Putin, and ask him to route some weapons through Syria. Frankly speaking, Turkey doesn't need more enemies than it already has - Russia, GCC, Syria. Iran. Like honestly if we get involved also it would be overkill. Turkey can sell any weapon to Pakistan, so does US and Europe. I am talking about direct involvement in the Kashmir issue, like providing money or weapons to terrorists.
