India starts Covid-19 vaccine shipments to neighbours, barring Pakistan and China

Many low-income countries are relying on India, the world’s biggest vaccine maker, for supplies to start immunisation programmes.

"India started delivering coronavirus vaccines to its neighbours on Wednesday, the foreign ministry said, flagging off a drive to garner goodwill in an often fractious region with the first shipment sent to the tiny Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan.
Bangladesh and Nepal said they expected deliveries on Thursday. The only neighbour absent from India’s list apart from China, is Pakistan, which had not requested assistance, according to an Indian government official.
Many low and middle-income countries are relying on India, the world’s biggest vaccine maker, for supplies to start Covid-19 immunisation programmes and bring an end to their outbreaks.
“The Pharmacy of the World will deliver to overcome the Covid challenge,” Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said on Twitter, adding the first vaccine lots had reached Bhutan and the Maldives."

The richest Chinese disappears without a trace for months. Imagine what rights a normal Chinese citizen enjoys.
I was unfortunately in a car with a Chinese communist party member(factory head) , and the inferiority complex pored out of him in spades. Obsessed with the western world though most parts of China are now cheap knock offs their impression of a western society. Sad really because the engineers i interacted with were pretty normal, but their heads were old fashioned thugs, picking constantly on their juniors.

So you still not relized that only those countrires which "CAN NOT CONTROL" the epidemic needs vaccines to help control?
In my city, there was 0 new cases in the last half year, why I need to take the risk of side effect to take a vaccine?
On the other hand, in China, those who who need/want to get vaccine will get one quickly, so this is the difference.

Pakistan will pay. We allocated funds for that. But I think the agreement of local testing of the vaccines (In Pakistan by Chinese company) had a clause where Pakistan would be one of the first countries to get the vaccine upon approval.
