What's new

India spent Rs 420,000 to deport one Bangladeshi from Assam

BTW on the same site you convert PKR to YEN and you'll find us better than Japanese. what does that mean we are better in every way from Japanese.

Now compare that with Indian Currency you will find the difference

Good century back huh

Abbay, 60 % your population live under dollar a day and countless die due to lack of food including farmar commiting suicide. No one in bd neither die because of lack food nor any of our farmer commit suicide. So shut your skinny mouth and stop labeling your homeless citizen as ours. No bangladeshi muslims would work in hindus house as a maid.

It's your country that urges its citizen to eat R#T to reduce hungers so think before opening your big mouth.

About half a million Indian nationals, who enter Bangladesh with tourist visas, are illegally working in various sectors and remitting millions of takas to India through hundi, revealed an intelligence agency report.
They overstay, work without permission and evade income tax, depriving the government of a huge amount of revenue, said the report recently submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

You have no clue what you talking about. Conversion rate means nothing when comparing two economies.

If you look at this from another angle.
There are over 10 Lacs immigrant mostly foreign workers in BD compared to 57 lacs in India. Its a staggering number when India is 20 times bigger than us.

. .
The only thing left for you to arrange a video conferencing with your maid. So that we could ask her, what made her to cross the border to go to a hostile land for the miser living she could earn. Otherwise I could come up with 1000s of Indian maids delivering since morning till evening in my home too...

Guys just look at the thread, that is much money they spent to find one guy. Why, cause their are none. However, remember the Nellie Massacre. That is real. People of Bengali ethnicity were hacked to death in Nellie, Assam in February, 1983. About half of 3300 that were slaughtered in 6 hours, were women and children.

The trolls that you are responding to, are capable of these monstrous acts. So fudging these numbers are just elementary, more like a Sunday stroll.

You picked a good point.Considering BD is 23 times smaller than India, those numbers are indeed staggering.

The rates you mentioned and working tactics you mentioned, similar in Bangladesh.Besides, some maids have side businesses thanks to micro-credit.

In posh areas, the rates can become as much as double of what you mentioned there.

I never said that BD cant pay them more than India or anything. I think their can be an excess of supply over demand scenario.

I dont think that if BDR is taking money for people illegaly crossing over then BSF wont be doing the same.

My sole debate is : If it makes economic sense people will indulge in it, the more desperate a persons circumstances the more desperate measures he/she will take. Thats the law of nature and a must for survival. So if there is an excess of supply in BD ( which is a valid case for me because I see many BD women working here) then they will flow towards areas where demand is more. Rapidly growing cities like Gurgaon etc will definitely be very attractive to them.

I dont even think that NE people wont be migrating to BD as they migrate in large no's in whole of India. I have migrated from my hometown in Ambala ( 200 kms from Delhi ) to Gurgaon , just because Ambala aint an IT hub. Things like these are normal and people should understand that. Whosoever has a fundamentalistic view about it needs to redefine his/her line of thinking & needs to be more practical.
