India should avoid bigger US strategic game: Karzai

BS, if that was the reason why did American companies invested a chunk of their money in China during the 90's which eventually helped Chinese economic growth instead of India ??? Instead USA could have redirected the FDI's meant for China directly to Indian companies thereby helping our economy, if they really wanted to counter China ?????

And FYI, we don't deal directly with any Tom, Dick and Harry in the Oval office. We do business with the government. Trump will have to go any day tomorrow, but inter-government relation will go on. Jut wait and see the policy shift in favor of India. :-)
Chinese business stability. No labor union. In time execution of order. Customer satisfaction. Plus, Chinese foreign policy convince Bill Clinton for future reforms.

Well you answered your own question loud and clear. :p:

It was never any favoritism towards China (in the case of FDI) or India (in the case of IT), it was always business and the U.S Interests first. Whoever and whichever was more feasible and profitable the U.S government choose and embraced them. Simple. :)

Well who told otherwise ???

I agree with you, what I said earlier is, it was never any kind of favoritism, it was pure business and U.S started outsourcing because they found it feasible and profitable nothing else, it was always U.S interest first. :)

Our Defence minster already made it clear during the joint statement that India won't send troops into Afghanistan.
Why some members are asking for payback neither we got free Centurions nor donated F16.

Back then India US relations was not good as they are now.
We're left isolated by the West due to our Non-Alignment policy & then tilt towards Soviets.
Over relations with US is only a decade old.

Well we have reiterated, no Indian boots on Afghan soil. :)

Sorry, there is one and only one US proxy in the region. And it's not, and will never be India for sure. The super proxy title is already reserved and used by someone else I guess. LOL :p:

hahahahaha, does he mean " Spend money to watch big boys playing and stay out of big game"?

He said the best strategy towards the Taliban was to reach peace with them. "It is too late to talk of defeat…defeat means causing war in Afghanistan on a higher larger scale... military solutions are no more an option for us. The Taliban are Afghans and we must sit down with them and have peace with them."

Isn't it what Pakistan has been reiterating for long now but this doesn't suit their new design so there is a new Afghan strategy and more suffering for Afghans.

Just as was suspected, Afghan War is now turning into a US-India mission to disrupt CPEC somehow. But it seems it's a bit too late for that now.

I think China sent a message to the Indians in Doklam recently, "stop us if you can." I also suspect a much larger presence of Chinese military near the "Chicken's neck".m just to the keep the Indians on their toes.
