i know dude....but in future .....if india starts playin an important role in world's politics..if we become tat powerful and relevent...then such a trend like playing both the sides is impossible......china willl seize all its trade with india....and our capital will be under immense threat...china is strong.....more spending on military will affect our economy....and if we choose china...then america will put sanctions on india...endangering our semi-capitalistic economy ...with many projects depending upon us, japan, eu, etc etc

if we play a very important role in world politics in future then....

20 years from now if usa decides to act against china....and india is with us.....its not USA which is in danger but its allies in asia.......our major imports come from china.......it will be affected.......more spending on military will cripple our economy....we will have to deal with pakistan too.......investments will start leaving our country coz of imminent war

if we choose china...then...sanctions...look at iran.....they cant even launch a fuqqin satellite...due to sanctions....look at russia's economy after sanctions.......same will happen...all western investments will leave our country....a huge chunk of our economy is west dependent.........

all i am saying is ............our guv. needs to plan something decisive if this is what they wanna continue with...balancing both the sides

I think our positions on South Tibet, SCS are very clear unless new propositions are to be added on India's side after Obama's visit. However, if USA wants to get deeper in the issues at hand, then they will stand to aggravate the tensions
So in view of the hurry, there is something pretty important for the development of the geopolical issues in the region
like you said SCS, IOR and others like Ukraine and Russian sanctions, arms sales

Whatever it is US still fear about Russia .Russia the only nation that was in toe to toe with US.I dont think any other nation can that resilence like that of Russians.

Ridiculous! The Russians had been relatively quiet for the last 24 years. Yes, they still oppose us in the UN...but that is expected and the status quo for the last 50 years.
